Story of Curlin's most recent work:

Story of Big Brown's work:

Curlin's now working at Santa Anita to see how he adjusts to the new surface and maybe he'll go to the BC Classic. :) I'd love that. Anyway. Sounds like Curlin likes the synthetic track.
Monday morning was the big day for Curlin. He posted his first official workout over Santa Anita's Pro-Ride surface. The winner of this year's $6 million Dubai World Cup covered a half-mile in 52.80.
Very slow, but it sounds like they were just trying to take it easy on him.
Big Brown on the other hand is still at Aqueduct. He's not going to have nearly as much time to try out the synthetic surface. How do they even know if he's going to like it? He's going to ship to Santa Anita on the 21st.
I can't wait until the Breeders' Cup.
