Just caught this and wanted to post.....I imagine there are hundreds of pets not so lucky

I watched that on CNN Anderson Cooper last night, it was heart wrenching and so touching how that dog stayed with his injured pal. I was so glad they were rescued. I wish I had a ton of money so I could go over there and help the animals too.
