I just want give everyone a heads up to keep an eye on their mail for a really good coupon Purina Mills is sending out for $15 off your purchase of two bags of their feed. It looks like it's an instant $15 if you buy at any dealer (which I think would mean any feed store that carries Purina) you just have to fill out the info portion and give it to the cashier. It's not a mail-in rebate or anything.

It's good from 10/1/2008-12/31/2008 so if you don't get it in your mail visit their website!!

I got one in the mail today though I don't use Purina. Also got my H&R magazine in, and there is a coupon in it but you have to buy 10 purina items to save 15.00, didn't make much sense to me though.

Oh, I love purina coupons. I go through alot of Equine Senior all year long.

I wonder why I was sent a coupon? I don't remember ever giving my information to anyone from the company or filling out any kind of survey for them...

I looked on the site and I couldn't find a coupon either, maybe they just randomly send out a select amount of them.

Do you get any horse magazines? Ever send off for Horse magazines? Give your info to your feed store?

I know my info has had to be given to TSC before, and I also get Horse & Rider. On top of all that, I've sent off for a few free magazines from horse companies with tack and such.
I think with all of that they'll sell your info to someone.

That would probably be it Pandora :) I subscribe to Equus and Practical Horseman so most likely that's where they got me. I'm glad though, I usually get tons of coupons I don't need and finally I get one that will be save me a nice little chunk :)

So I called Purina today, and nope, they wont let me use the coupon for my feed. Cause its more cost efficient.
I call BS on that, but oh well.

No one wants the coupon? It's a card you cut out and every time you buy a product the cashier checks a box initials and dates it. So you don't have to buy all 10 at one time. It's good tell 5/31/09.

I just got my Perfect Horse Mag by John Lyon's Dec.08/Jan.09 issue and it has the Purina coupon too!! :)

So, both Horse Illustrated Dec.08 and Perfect Horse has the coupon but The Horse Mag does not!

So, If your in a store that sells these Mags and feed Purina you might want to buy the Mag and start using the card. Make sure you check the Mag before you buy it to make someone didn't steal the coupon. It's a full page coupon and the page is much stiffer then the rest of the pages so it's easy to find.

CG, I have a coupon that you can use for Equine Senior. Fifteen dollars off total purchase(you have to buy 2 bags or more).
I cant use it. I need the one where you can buy ANY of their feed and get one free.
I feed the wrong stuff for the coupon I have.

Me too, me too!! I do the Equine Senior for my old guy and go through many bags a month. Any coupons would be appreciated! I'm going to go look on Purina's website to see if I can find them :)

BTW, I wonder why I don't get any? I order from all sorts of horse places and got a magazine up until last month... sigh :(
