i really dont what it is really about honestly. Frontsight is just a firearms training company internet based... but obviously owner Piazza is an TeaParty advocate. Who know what hes up to... other than trying to solicit publicity. He touts wanting to give Tea Party Patriots much talked about gift because he's rich.

who knows but his firearms training info is good. just thought i'd spread they hyp'd gift rumor.

all is generic and ok, ps love the new addition!

Well, I've poked around on the internet, and I don't see anything bad written about the guy or the site... but I see he has done these sort of "thank you" promotions in the past, and he gave away free membership for his training courses then.

Quite a bit of self-promotion involved, but I haven't found signs it's harmful :)

Hi Lisa!! :)

I know who Ignatius Piazza is... I've been on the FrontSight mailing list for a couple of years now. I keep thinking about taking a vacation and go down there and take one or two of their week-long training classes. It would be awesome.

Though... I have to admit there's another place that I would likely go first: GunSite Academy. This is due solely to the fact that it was founded by the Great One... Jeff Cooper himself (RIP). I'd go there just to hopefully absorb some of the Cooper magic that might still be lingering in the air.

FrontSight seems to be a straight-up outfit. They get good reviews from the people that have taken their classes. I'm guessing that the "gift" to the Tea Party people is going to be some deeply discounted training opportunities, along with some nifty freebies at the course.

good to hear what you think of frontsight, as first few newsletters really heloed me start a mental focus again. getting .357 snubby as scene toi many wacko people lately and live in city where convicts get out of prisin and live next to you. have had two really hard encounters over the last year, xcons praying on my old parents. had to tell them to stay away. fortunately the really psycho xcon fell in river and died at a casino. the world is a crazy place and unfortunately i cant hide my head in anhole to not see how peiple, especially drivers are acting out insanely lately. just nervous nelly lately i am. i have been really going over in my head the basic book your dad made us read a million years ago. dont remember title but please thank him again for me for making me read it. ...legalalities of gun ownership....

anyways to compensate for bad eyesight i need to really tackle the menyal part of how to shoot more. frontsight has really good info. someday may get practice books. makes sense ... safe dry practice! Hugs, lisa
