I took my mare to a schooling show this past Saturday. It was her first show and I was/am quite proud of her. She was generally calm for most of it but started to get ancy and in the outdoor warm up arena she was bolting and trying to run sideways. We got 5th and 6th and entered four classes. I didn't really care what placings I got since my biggest goal was to get her used to the environment etc. Anyways here are some photos as I haven't posted any in a long time.

The competition was very tough. Trainers were riding $25,000 horses and some people had such nice tack and amazing horses who just crawled (this is for western pleasure etc).

Haha it was so funny. After we got back to the barn I put her back in her pasture and left for two mintues and I come back and see a very, very muddy brown horse. :rolleyes:
