So I have had my warmblood/ draft cross saddle up for sale, and finally have a very interested buyer in Montana who has a Haflinger/ draft cross. We got into some correspondence about the search for the saddle that fits, and she mentioned that she has this saddle:

in a wide 'unpressed' gullet that she would sell with pad, girth etc for $150. So we are working out a partial trade deal (I am selling my saddle for $400), I would like to try the Aussie simply because it is made with the standard wide tree.
The synthetic saddle is not the quality or design I am after but it is built with the same tree as other Aussies. If it does fit Sweet P I will have a saddle I can ride her in for the time being. Then I can start pestering Santa Clause about getting this one custom ordered:
