I thought this might be a fun neutral subject that would be fun to play with...
Share one dream that you have that is not normal to your interests or personality. It can be any price range, but it has to be something that is unknown by your forum friends. Oh, and look around or shop for an example to share with us. :)
I'll go first.
I'm usually a land girl. Although I am an avid pool swimmer...I hate swimming in lakes, rivers and, I assume, I would hate swimming in the ocean as well. I am the one who would rather sun bath on the beach or stay on the dock. I don't mind canoeing or riding in a boat, but it's not something I LOVE. My biggest dream, that everyone knows, is to own LOTS of land and have LOTS of horses. However, I have a random dream of purchasing a small yacht and living on it. I would love to try it at some point.
So here's an example of my weird, totally NOT ME, probably too expensive to ever come true, dream:

Now, it's your turn!

I want to be alive long enough to see a dinosaur. Like a real life, test tube made dinosaur...
I love them so much. When we went to the science center I was almost crying getting to see my first actual T Rex full skeleton. And then I made my son and boyfriend take me to the cinedome feature "Sea monsters".. because it makes you feel like you're under water with the sea dinos...

I want to go on a photo safari to Africa, and see lions, and zebras, and giraffes, in the wild, from a Land Rover.
But I really don't like to travel, and I don't like hot weather. ;)

Land rovers get stuck and are too top heavy.
Bring me with you! I'll bring jeeps!

I dunno... I have always pictured a Land Rover with the spare tire mounted on the front of it, but I guess I'm not picky.
When I was younger, of course, I thought I'd be on foot, following our native guide, but now that just sounds like a lot of walking. :)
I would like to go to Atlanta to upscale hip-hop clubs and blow the best dancer's socks off with my moves at age 52. Not just the pop-drop-and lock it stuff, the actual dancing. Man, can they move. Don't visualize me doing this (it may cause nausea).

Non personality? Dang, thats hard. Ive partied on the 80ft yachts, so owning one is out. Ive lived on the Puget Sound, so owning ocean front property is out. Ive lived on a farm, so animals are out. Ive traveled afar, but there is a place Id like to go, and they have espressos, does that count, I so love espressos, and want to see Italy.
Oh wait, Id like to own a Country Club/resort. Bob can be the head manager and hire the golf trainers, ect. He would love that. Id have a mini putt putt a hair off the property...for non golfers like me...lol.

Before I die, I want to take a trip to Alaska and see the Northern Lights while there... I guess that's the most uncharacteristic thing for me, since I'm NOT a traveler. I'm a homebody.
Sorry, that's the most interesting thing I can think of off hand. :p

I wanted to see Nessie too, but then I watched the extra's from the Water Horse. That kind of rained on my parade. :(

Well, I hear you can hire one. :) We had a professional "Santa for hire" come to our garage sale. He gave us his card and everything. It was soo cool. :)

My brother lived up there for years! He loved it even though the darkness made his depressed in the winter months.
The only time I've ever seen the northern lights was in June in WI. Weird, huh?

Hmm...let's see here.
I hate the cold but yet I've always wanted to see Alaska, it looks so pretty! I'm also like carla where I'm a complete homebody. We went to Florida a few years ago and I seriously cried the whole way home because I was sooo homesick...I just wanted the car ride to be over!
I have also had some interest in joining the air force or army here and there even though I couldn't imagine myself ever doing so...I have problems with authority, I doubt I would like the army  My dad is a pilot so I guess that's kind of where it came from.
How could you not want to go there?

That's neat. Kind of like how I hate hiking and really don't care for mountains, but I grew up vacationing in the Gallatin Canyon in MT (near Big Sky) where my family has a cabin. Whenever we go back I keep thinking "why am I here?" I would rather be riding or anything, but hiking! But, when you get to the top and you lean out over the VAST expanse ...

It takes your breath away. But isn't it interesting how it's pretty amazingly HUGE, but it doesn't look that big at all compared to ALASKA.
