Went to the Leather Show/Exhibition that was in town and bought some sterling silver conchos. I've wanted to get some for the new McCall saddle I bought a couple months ago, and having the show here on my b-day was a good excuse.

Here's what I got.

After. I put the two small ones up front and the other four back. Two at the jockey and two on the skirt.

Three of the saddle strings were so thick, my daughter and I shaved them down with our pocket knives so they'd fit.

I love this saddle. I had one similar years ago (like 35 years) and gave it to a kid that it fit who just worked her self silly for area farmers to get to ride. Though I never regreted giving it away, I always missed that saddle. Was delighted someone was still making that style and that I came across it when I was looking for a new one. Fits like a glove.
