Well lots going on! Dylans birthday is tonight, made a meat and cheese tray last night, baked a chocolate fudge cake with whipped icing, and bought ( ordered ) a white decorated cake from the store so we have both. Hubby cooked supper last night for me, he's a sweetie. ;)


Played with Suse a bit last night in the dark, Ringo (our 55lb mt cur) was wanting to play and was in the pasture with me and Susey, so I was chasin him around, she ran up between us a couple times, she'd lower her head at him then come over to me...... :) I felt loved! I think she was jealous, that or she thought she was protecting me . Although since she has no horsie buddys its' not uncommon for me to look outside and see Ringo and her cuddling or kissing noses.... The dog and the horse.... so cute!!!!!!! They pretend they're not buddies but I know better!!!!

Bob comes home today. He sent me a list of movie times for today, so guess were going to the movies today..lol Were going to see Fireproof.
Man, its cold outside. Checked the horses, they dont have blankets on, are warm under the rear legs, no shivering, tail not tucked, so I know they are good. Its weird, Ive always blanketed them when its cold, but they are doing very good this yr. I think Ill just blanket in winds and/or wet days, unless it gets colder.

Nothing really planned for tonight. I didn't end up getting my hair cut last night. We had a rough night with moving hubby's deer stand, having issues with the cattle getting out again, fixing fencing, and then putting the new blankets on the horses and dealing with mommy anxiety about that!

Then the winds picked up and my son was terrified to go to bed it was so loud! Finally got him to sleep around 8:30 or so and then hubby and I were in bed by 9. I slept good. :)

It's Thirsty Thursday! Good Morning everyone. Got such a busy day, I have to go pick up one of Matt's Christmas gifts, then try to figure out how to hide it until Christmas. (I got one of his snow birds that he shot last year, mounted for him) I'm excited to see it, a co-worker/friend is doing it for me & apparently does REAL good work! Legend is getting her footsie's trimmed today, yay!! Can't wait because I got a few more questions to ask the trimmer. He's teaching me how to do my own trimmings if I desire! :) I got tons of homework & studying to do as well. No hunting for me tonight & back to work tomorrow! BLAH!

It's snowing here, nothing major just VERY light snow! It's still exciting to me! I automatically turn into a 5 yr old when I see snow!

Chilly in the 30's here but Sunny! I goofed on Kabota's appt yesterday, got my times mixed up so he goes tomorrow for his check up. He is not using his back leg as much as he was, I think he has gotten used to doing his "bunny hop" walk. So I want to know about that, He does walk with a limp when I make him walk slow. I don't want it to atrophy. Was awful tired yesterday, got home from the missed vet appt about 7pm, washed up and went straight to bed.

FoxFire....we had some flurries locally yesterday but none near me.

Mandisue....Happy Birthday Dylan! I remember when the kids were little and in school I would have to bake 3 cakes, one for the class on the day they celebrated their birthday, one for their actual birthday and another for their birthday party (if it wasn't on the same day). I got really good at baking Barney and Mario cakes! LOL.

Loves.....got those blankets just in time didn't you? Can't wait to see the new hairdo.

Vick....can't wait to see what Bob thinks of Tex, and we must have picts! I don't go to the movies much, usually just get them from NetFlix but I cancelled that this month, I just watched Penelope, it was a wonderful movie. Let us know what you think of the movie.

Good morning, everyone! I'm having a great week! DS is feeling a good bit better, and his Taekwondo instructor let him do a make-up belt test Tues, so he gets to attend the belt ceremony tomorrow night! :)

ALSO... I finally got to be on the L&D floor at clinicals this week, and I think I've officially clicked! I'm bummed we have to miss next week for Tgiving, but the next week I'll get to go back. It's the first clinical ever where I can't WAIT to get there and don't want to leave! :D :D :clap:

It's COLD here now. I saw a white tail deer on the way back from my mom's this morning.. she was beautiful, and it was just a crisp/misty spot where she was. I always love to see that. :)

WHY IS IT GOING SO SLOW!

so i've only ridden Anna once this week and tonight im going out with my friend who just had surgery. :) I am riding her horse also while she recovers so like a month or so its really fun experiencing a new horse. :) brushing up my western skills. So she wants to watch me ride him.

BRRRRRRR, this a.m. it was a cool 19 degrees. Cane gets his shots this afternoon. My back is better today (yeah) we will see how long that lasts. I need to take Jonathan shopping tonight to pick out his b-day theme.

Hi everyone!! its been a couple of days but im back. Things have been pretty rough in my life lately... my boyfriend of 2 years on and off broke up with me (hard at first but we have decided to stay friends) I register for my classes soon and they arent offering what I need so im trying to figure all that out. I also got very sick on sunday and almost had to go to the hospital.. but im back! Have a good thursday everyone

Well, I'd say good morning, but it's afternoon now, lol!

Still trying to get a daily routine established- it gets a little better each day.

The biggest thing I'm trying to do is get back into more posting on here- I feel it's a good start towards normalcy.

Very cold and windy here today. The base temp is 10 above, and I haven't even checked on the windchills- I'll have to do that tonight, so I know how much hay to feed Gypsy, lol!

Good morning everyone. I've been extremely sick and off work for the past two days...my stomach has just been so upset due to some pretty devestating personal issues that I have recently had to deal with. I'd appreciate any healing thoughts and prayers for me during this time, even though I'm not really ready to go into detail. I'm back at work today but I'm pretty out of it. It's the kind of issue where time will heal so I'm just trying to get by day by day...hope everyone's well.
