I'm going to purchase Prestige stirrup leathers...I'm 6'2 with a 37" inseam...is 52" going to be too short for me? They guy at Dover said I would prob be better off with 54 or 58 :( but they don't have them that length in tobacco(the color I need - the other option is black and my saddle is Carmel so thats not gonna look so good).

I can't tell you for sure but it's really going to depend on how long or short your stirrups are when you ride.
I ride with a moderate length in dressage (32" inseam) and use a 58" leather with that perticular one I'm riding closer to the tops holes (4th from the top) but it's all relative if I rode with a short length then these would be to long for me.

Hrm... When I ride w the school saddle I'm about the 8th hole from the longest. But then again idk what lenght the stirrups are to begin with. My trainer said to get them from dover. I googled them and found them on some other websites (and actually for cheaper). Should I be careful getting them from another website (they don't like name things something they aren't right? Lol I'm petrified of being taken advantage of because I'm not savvy on this tack stuff. Lol

52" sounds like it will be too short to me. I have a 32" inseam and 54/56" stirrups have room to go longer with me, but not a ton of room.

I agree, measure your schooling leathers and try to get some no more than 2-3" shorter.

I would have no problem buying from somewhere else. Which sites did you see them on? Most of the online retailers are decent. You can always call if you're hesitant. Talk to customer service and see if they're "real."

Is there a Prestige dealer near you? Maybe they would have the color you want. If you are going to pay that much money your should get what you want color wise. My daughter had a Prestige saddle and leathers. The leathers were excellent quality and were worth the money. Check online with Prestige. Maybe you can order direct form them if dover can't get what you want.
