All my life every dream that i could remember more than just vegly has been about horse of course. But a few months before I found Chief i started having dreams of Indians and Indian horses, painted horses with Indian riders. They were all quite beautiful.
Well shortly after I bought chief they stopped and in fact I stopped dreaming of any other horse than Chief all together. Witch as fine with me he was and still is the love pride and center of my life.
but oddly, about a month ago I started thinking of buying another horse. I looked at few and never found the click that I found with chief. But i was looking at paints.
Now I have noticed for the last two weeks my dreams have come back and most are filled with beautiful grey/gray horses. All different shads an shapes of grey/gray.
But To me everything happens for a reason, so now I must say I am on a search for a gray horse that strikes my eye. And I think I have found one.
So tell me honestly, I learn from constructive criticism.
How does she look.

Remember her she'll fade out and get flea bitten as she gets older. She's built very well and looks like a nice horse. But as always, go and check her out first and I'd recommend a vet check before buying her.
You have to make sure getting another horse is practical, too. Will you keep this horse at your house?
I thought I remember you looking for another horse like a year ago... ?

She's pretty. Sounds like a project, though.
If I bought a horse for every dream I had my pasture would be overflowing ;)

Hear hear.
And you know the old saying about horses and potato chips. I have to remind myself at times, I CAN only have ONE. :p

When me and my mom started looking for my first horse I had a dream about horses. In the dream I tried out three horses. One bucked me off, I can't really remember the second one, but the third one was perfect. She had the smoothest jog. I while later we checked out Lady and when I first started riding her jog my first thought was "This is just like the horse in my dream!"
Sorry about the random story. She is gorgeous, but she does sound like a project. If I had more experience I'd take her though, but I don't fancy speed horses at the moment and they say she's a barrel racer.

Her colouring will fade out, as Ashley mentioned ;)
I'd always recomend going and ''trying'' her, meeting her in the flesh and having a Vet check her over, if a Vet is totally not available an experienced horse person. I also think you should think, can you really afford another horse? Do you have time to give TWO horses the attention they need? Dreams are great, there's no consequences - you can just wake up, but if you do buy another horse, you wont be able to just 'wake-up' from it - she'll stil be there, that maybe good but just be sure you can take care of her every need before you buy a new horse :D:D Happy searchin' she looks pretty ;)

Yeah her color isn't to important to me "really" i mean it's fine with me is she fades out....
I like horses that need a little work so i don't have something totally auto-pilot on my hands.
I have the time for two as Chief is having some joint issues lately and is having therapy and taking medication.
His joints are stiff and before I put him on meds and supplements you could clearly see he was in pain when trotting and cantering. So the vet says for the rest of chiefs days he should be on a more mild ridding basis.
no more speed racer and no more crazy barrel racing.
I am not selling him though I'll keep him till the day he passes just wont be working as hard.
So now I have some more time on my hands, I started another job and I've worked my budget out with my daddy paying to insure my car I can get another horse as long as chiefs mads stay the same price.
So yeah, I've been lookin around. I don't really NEED another horse I could do with mild riding chief so if i don't find one that really strikes my eye or I totally fall in love with then its fine if I don't get one.
But yeah thanks for all your input I set up a time to visit this grey mare next week, i'll let you know how it goes.

She looks like a nice mare, and if you have the time to dedicate to her, go try her out. Let us know how it goes!

I really like the mare, she is put together very well. I just absolutly love her, she does sound like a project though if you're up for that. I used to have dreams about this buckskin horse, he/she was always out in the distance...and I would whistle but it would just take off. When I found that I had to quit taking lessons from my riding instructor I had the dream, but this time the horse can up to me and I rode it. Then about two months later I bought my buckskin mare. When I saw her all I could think of was "SHE IS MY DREAM!" I really have never told anyone that though, my family already think I'm nuts....lets not show more proof.

Thats cool GrungeEquine! Trouble is soo cute. She looks pretty Alli. Greys are gourgous. I think you should go give her a try. I remeber when I frist saw Strikes at an auction something just stuck me as "he is the one you need". My step dads friend no saled him. I was sad when he went back home but happy that he had no saled him to the lady who was bidding. I had dreams about him. He was there by my side or I was in the saddle. Or bout to turn a barrel and he was perfect, flawless. After a year of these crazy dreams. I finally had enough to buy him, and now when I ride him it is still a dream in its self every time we go out. That is my dream horse. The one I'v bonded so close too and he is perfect. Even if his confo isnt. In my heart he is. Anyways just thought I'd share my 2 cents lol. Go look at her Alli she sounds like a good project.

The pictures that are shown aren't really helpful as far as critiquing conformation goes, but her color is real pretty. When she gets older she will probably fade out to almost white (of course a light gray, not actually white), but still will be beautiful. She sounds like she needs a lot of work, are you experienced enough to get her to where you want her to be and have the time? Or are you able to pay a trainer? I think her price is a little high, but that might be just me. If you really, really want a horse, I guess it doesn't hurt to go take a look.
