Crazy rank stallion with saddle (Willie pics!)

Yup, I've got a crazy rank stallion on my hands. I just don't know what I am going to do with this pony. :eek: Tossed a saddle up on his back and the following pictures was the result.

Now the saddle was an after thought to the saddle blanket we were playing with so no, they don't go together. The saddle is one of Tobys old synthetics from his first year riding - and look how long it is on this boy's back! Saddle fitting is going to be so much fun with Willie. Didn't cinch it or anything - heck I don't even have billets on that saddle anymore. LOL. But here are the pics I promised yesterday, but with the bonus of the saddle. And yes, I litterally tossed the saddle on his back. Let him sniff it for a minute and put it on him. No fuss.

Ah, my writing...I've been a pro at procrastination today and don't have anything done. LOL. Oh boy- I have some catching up to do tonight.

I'm still really surprised at how easy it had been to put the saddle on, but he made me feel so good today. I can't wait until he is gelded (Dec. 6th) and healed so we can start actual saddle training. :)

He smelled it and when I put it on him he took a single step back real quick and that was it. Had no problem with me moving around his back or even flapping the stirrups.
