I'm so excited! What a wonderful new year it should be!
I'm a real estate agent thats been in business for 2.5 years now. I love my current broker the only problem is that I live an hour away from them so anytime I write a contract or close on a property I have to make a 2 hr round trip just to deliver a check. :( Well last Friday a local broker that is also an appraiser told me to call him if I wanted to take about partnering with him. I went to see him yesterday and after chatting with him was very hopefully about making a deal, then he called me that evening with suggestions for commission splits that just floored me. They were what other broker/appraisers around the area offered their agents. Needless to say it was no where near anything I would accept but he told me to come up with what was acceptable for me and we would talk from there. I fretted all nite and half the morning over it thinking theres no way he's going to accept this and finally called him with what I was willing to offer and he did accept!!!!!!!!!!!
The big deal about this for me is that he is VERY established in my area and will be able to keep me swamped with listings. I thank God for answering my prayers to become financially stable and really look forward to a blessed new year!
