Helmet Size

Just wanted to share I ended up with a Charles Owen GR8 - cross your fingers it fits, it should be here next week.

I am buying a new helmet and am trying to decide what size to get. I had a GPA Titium, size 57 (European sizes, so 7 in hat size, 22 1/2"), but that was too small. I re-measured my head and it measures 22 1/2", which would mean I should get size 57 (European sizes, 7 in hat sizes, 22 1/2"). I know that helmet was too small for me, just a smidge. I'm looking at the GPA Textium now and can't decide what size to get! I definitely want something bigger than size 57, but should I go with 7 1/8 (58), or 7 1/4 (59). I'm thinking 59 because that is 23inches, only 1/2" bigger than my head, but I dunno. I need some help! Lol. :D

Whatever size fits your head :p. But thanks for starting a poll... there's another thing we can now say "Yay! it works!" :clap:. If you aren't sure... I'd suggest you go to a store where you can put one on and wear it awhile.

Well, I don't really know how long our heads grow, but I do know the Western Stetson show hat I wore in high school is no longer even close to fitting on my head. It was always tight, it had to be, but now it doesn't fit at all.

If you're not sure, and you can't try one on before you buy it, its best to go with the bigger size up. That way, its not too small when you get it, and if its not adjustable and its a bit loose, then you can put a little extra padding in it, which most helmets come with.

Ugh, looks like I'm not getting the helmet, I hate when my mom changes her mind on me so quickly, especially when she promises. Ya know, I am gonna fall one of these days and not be so fortunate! :doh:
