Trail Ride today with danastark and Superstb! * heavy*

[All4Grace]

After calling a rain delay on Wed, Dana taxied Superstb and I over to a riding park in Norco and we got the ponies out for a nice stroll. Dana on her big boy Cody (SO HANDSOME) Superstb on Hazel and of course I was riding the nut Grace. It was fairly ineventful, I did dismount once to get Gracie past a mud puddle with a deep reveen(sp?) on either side (there was fencing) and Hazel and Cody were positive that two small Chiuahua's (sp?) were going to eat them (both of them did beautiful side passes across the dirt very lovely) Gracie was actually very good, only gave me trouble on the way back. We had fun chit chatting about ponies and enjoyed the fantastic weather (65 degrees no wind)

On the way back Grace went into head tossing mode and decided to give me a few small pop rears when we were heading down to the reveen again, but before I could get off and let myself let her win, Superstb snapped me out of it. I turned Grace around, kicked her butt for a few minutes to get her focus back on me and we sang our way down the hill, across the reveen and up the hill, then Superstb starting singing, "Good Bonnie, Good girl" did I mention superstb is my sister and LIVES to tease me!

Nothing more happened minus Gracies ANNOYING head tossing (I can't find my martingale grrr) but we arrived back to the trailer with three tired ponies.

Awesome pictures.. Cody is absolutely humongous! All the horses are pretty, though. Must be neat getting to ride with a forum member. :) I'm glad Gracie didnt give ya too much trouble.

I believe Dana said he is pushing 18hhs now and his is only 4!!!!!!!!!!!!
He makes Gracie look SOO little! For once she wasn't the horse with the biggest head. He is such a well behaved boy!

Oh wow what fun! You all have such gorgeous horses, it's fun to see all of you guys having such a great time.
The hills are so beautiful out there, I've heard that the Norco area is a very "horsey" area....looks like a great place to ride. Makes me want to move out there all the more!
