Well, after our ride today, I put Mitch in the round pen to chill out while I went and cleaned out his paddock. Looks like he had a good roll.

My small warhorse. His mane is starting to really stick up. I'm waiting for it to grow in really thick, and then I'll shape it like a warhorse mohawk.

And his trace clip job. Did it myself. I actually had to draw on him with felt marker because the chalk wouldn't show up.

Also you can see my 125 horses in the background (hint, it's the blood bay ;)) It's sort of a joke because a girl I used to ride with has 3 horses, and she came over to me once, and pointed to the horse she was riding, and said that this was her pony. So I said "Well, I only have one pony, but I have 125 horses." and then patted my car. (although my car is actually 146 horsepower, so I guess that would mean I actually have 146 horses.)

Awww I didn't know Mitchy got a trace clip too!! Him and Niko match now, how cute :D

It's like Yin and Yang. Niko is clean, Mitch is dirty. :p

Yup, he got a trace clip at the beginning of November, once his ultra-lightweight blanket arrived. I just wanted to do a low trace clip since he really didn't need a high one, but i'm so glad he did get one. The weather is still so perfect and warm enough that I can ride a lot, and he sweats. So he's easier to cool out.

Its bad - but even a dirty Mitch looks cleaner than my boys. &%$# red dirt - my boy's manes are no where near white right now.
