I'm so screwed up right now... So here's an update.
After the blood tests/disgusting tests I had to get done, my doctor recommended an Ultrasound for me. Got that done, it was paaaaainful. The lady had me inhale and hold my breath while she used the ultrasound tool (not sure what it's called) and she had to like dig it into my ribs and chest and roll it around.
My doctor called me the other day and told me it came back ok, but I've still been having the same pains.
So on Wednesday I'm going to the hospital and getting radiation injected into my veins to figure out what's going on with my gallbladder... :(
Just thought I would update you all on this frustrating process.

If you mean an upper or lower GI series, I've had them. They're not too bad. They just injection you with IVP dye and then take x-rays. It was pretty painless! Hope all goes well for you. Keep us updated!

How awful to have the doctors trying to figure out what's wrong! I'll be thinking of you and watching for updates.

I think that the test that you are going to have is a nuclear medicine HIDA scan.
A HIDA scan is a nuclear medicine test done to detect infections or other abnormalities of the gallbladder or bile ducts, or to evaluate unexplained abdominal pain. A special machine called a nuclear scanner will take pictures of the gallbladder and bile ducts following the injection of a radioactive material that will make areas of infection or obstruction more visible. The nurse or nuclear technologist will insert an IV in your hand or lower arm to inject the radioactive substance. The radioactive substance will remain in the body temporarily until it is passed through urine or stool. There is no danger to you or anyone else during this time. A series of images will be taken after the injection of the radioactive substance. The test is usually completed within one to two hours.
It will be a fairly easy test. You may or may not feel pain and nausea after the injection, depending on how well your gallbladder is functioning.

Hope you find out what is going on. It will be OK, like the others said, it's not a bad test at all, so don't worry too much at all.
The ultrasound "tool" is called a transducer. Anyway, let us know how you're doing, all should go just fine for you.
