:pHow do you get rid of a round bale your horses won't eat ??

They share the hay piles even though I put eight piles out for 3 horses

Yes her legs are really that crooked LOL and look at Sassy's face in the back there

This one I didn't even realize I took I was holding the camera away from her trying to turn in off so I could put it in my pocket to love on her

Moosa's growing into himself now! He looks great!

Then again, all three of them are looking fantastic.

If I burned a round bale like that, I'd be sick with allergies and sinus problems for a week!

I stand back as far I as I can safely while it is burning....

Moosa is my sexy man no ifs ands or buts about it...I actually wish he would stay the color he is right now but that won't happen he will one day be WHITE :(

even if they do it eat it there's alot of waste and mess to clean up from round bales...think your stuck havin' to burn it unless you have a tractor with forks to just move it some where and let it rot:(

mine NORMALLY eat it all or just leave a tiny bit
I have a old Ford Tractor with a blade so I scrape any left into what is left of our pond

LOL, that's what we do with round bales too! We got 3 round bales in June and they got ruined from all the rain so we had to burn them. I've been using just squares since. We also burn the wasted hay that's spread out on the ground.

We usually move ours over to the woods, where the deer have a feast! But then...we've got woods right next to the pasture. Sometimes the deer don't wait...but...I haven't seen them in the pasture for a bit.
OR...you can leave it for bedding.
But....I LOVE a good fire! **inhale**
Guess I'm lucky....so far, I've loved the smell of smoke! Won't be long, and we'll be burning the leaves! I really love that smell!
We have a lot of bonfires out here...all year round...
Nothing we enjoy more than bonfire hot dogs n S'mores....

i love burning too as long as the fire is close to water just in case...sittin' by a camp fire is so relaxing:sleep:

Ya know I shoudl do that one of these weekends.. I have plenty of firewood laying around here that needs cleaned up...
