Finished up my finals yesterday, so I can go back to being me for a few weeks! I need a break~ BAD!

It's rainy & warm here ~ now they say no winter weather here, darn! **STOMPS FEET, I WANT SNOW!!**

Morning...
It is around mid 30s here but raining nonstop since yesterday and it is cold and damp. I am my second cup of java and had to push up the heat to take the chill off me and the house. It is supposed to get colder tonight so the horses got their blanket on today. Rain is not supposed to let up until Sat. BBrrrrrr!! Needless to say I am doing inside chores. If doctor releases me, then I will be back to work next Tues. Have a great day!

Morning- been up since 5:30- just didn't get here until now, lol!

I was supposed to take Trixie, the new kitty, to the vet yesterday, but the weather was really bad, and the roads were horrible. I rescheduled for today, but I dunno- it's 3 below, and we've got more snow coming in- sheesh!

No clue yet what I'm having for breakfast, I'm going to do chores first and think about it.

FFEMT, I'll gladly give you my snow and cold- you can have it!

Morning Everyone! Mid 30s here and rain EWWWWW and more on the way - oh joy flood watches
I did go ride in the rain last night ~ I HATE ridding in the rain but I figured it was my only shot for a few days. I'm never going to be ready for the shows in the spring at this rate :( I'm really thinking of bucking up and spending the $ to go to an indoor for the winter.
On the plus side we are south of where all the ice is suposed to be coming ~ I don't go out in ice that's just my rule - snow I can handle but ice - no thanks.

Well hubby left at midnight to head to Ohio and we have snow, sleet and freezing rain coming in. So I am on pins and needles. We have an early release day today due to the weather coming. Cane & Jake need to get some spankings, they keep being brats to each other in the pasture and think they need to go in each other's stalls when I bring them in.

Mornig all! I've got hot cocoa here, if anybody wants any. Dad's almost got my snowmobile fixed, and we actually have enough snow to ride, so I can't wait till the weekend. Work here till 5 pm, then home to snuggle with the hubby. Snow forecasted for us today and tonight, so those of you getting ice from the coastal storm, be careful. Have a good day! I'm UP!!! :sleep: Kind of. I was up late last night talking to an old friend I hadn't talked to in 2 years. We had alot to catch up on. We are supposedly going to get together for lunch tomorrow, but I don't know how it will go. We stopped being friends because I couldn't handle the drama she loved so much. Hopefully she's changed, or I don't know.....

Anyways, Can't wait for nap time today so I can take a nap too! Yesterday afternoon we took the kids outside to see the horses. They haven't been out to see them since it's gotten so cold. My son just loves "the ponies" and they really like him so it was good to see.

Nothing on the plan for today except more LAUNDRY. Hope everyone that is feeling sick starts feeling better!!

Walkin, do yourself a favor go buy some Vicks 44 cold meds. We have Dimatap, Nyquil and the 44 at home and I've switched everyone over to the 44, you can take it during the day without feeling yuck, and take it at night and sleep like a babe.

My fav is the Tylenol Flu Severe, I say DayQuil, but it's Tylenol. I saw an ad for that new 44 stuff, symptom specific stuff?

What really sucks is that I'm not really sick enough to laid up in bed. Buuuut, if I don't lay myself up in bed for a couple of days now before I get laid up in bed sick, then I'll be nearly useless for at least a week before finally getting laid up in bed for a week.

I'm allergic to just about everything outdoors, and I'm not kidding either. Grass, (and hay) dust, pollen, mold, cats... fortunately I'm not allergic to dogs, or the actual horses, just everything around them. So if I don't hide from my allergies now before I'm immuno-compromised my asthma will kick my ass and I won't get better for weeks and not without steroids and anti-biotics. And I do so hate doctors.... and office buildings in general, so depressing, I don't know how some of you do it.

Morning all. Still waiting for my coffee to finish brewing. I tried to get up early, but bed kept telling me it was so much warmer and toastier than "out there" and it was right! LOL. Wet, cold and dreary out. Blah.

Good news - hubby had 2 days of vacation to use up so he is using it tomorrow and Monday - so 4 days off that I get to spend with him. :D

Well the race is about to start here. Get my daughter off to school, run to the stable and play with the horses, run to the store and get birthday cards, go to Sams Club and buy a birthday cake, run home, pick up daughter from school, hurry and shower, scrub horse smell off and get ready for dinner out for my son's birthday and have a nice visit with my cousin. Wheeww, I'm tired already!!!!
Last nights party went off with quite well. Lots of good snacks, conversations with good friends. Kids had a blast and major sugar high LOL, but what the heck, that is what Christmas is about, FAMILY, FRIENDS and LOTS of LAUGHS.

Is it today already? Man I got a work-out in my dream last night...I'm sore. Well I think I'm sore from the ACTUAL workout I did before I went to bed but seriously I think I was running in my sleep too. Running from wasps! I was cleaning out the stall of a horse that was apparently mine but looked more like a wolf/dog/horse (I don't need Cheval to tell me that this was from the show I watched on Chupacabra's last night). I went over to a steaming pile of poo and went to scoop it up when it broke open and wasps came out ready to take me down. I just started running like an Olympian. Running like my life depended on it, which I'm sure it did in dream-land. That's all I remember but I would pay to see what body contortions I was actually displaying in my bed...

Ok, need coffee...I'm starting to itch.
