:yawn:Morning Everyone...Dog wants out , Cat wants , I don't know!! and Sunday's Man is already whining for breakfast. It's too early to cook..yeh...that's it. We can just stop at the corner ma and pa store and get some homemade biscuits with bacon, egg and cheese. I will get enough to share. Ya'll come on over and spend the day with us.

We're both up today to let the herd out into the pasture. It rained all day yesterday so I hope I can get some pictures this morning of the horses all wet and dirty!!!:)

The rain brought my lake up about 1/2 inch. Only 23 1/2 more to go!!! yeeeahh. I think the fish are happier about it than me. I want them to be happy and grow to frying pan size ;)

Good morning! I'm eating chocolate chip cookies for breakfast. They were left over from the funeral dinner, but they aren't too stale. Yet.

Another bobwhite hatched yesterday, and two more last night! The last two are still in the incubator drying off. Looks like two more eggs are going to pop today.

The sun is up now, so I'd better go out and feed the horses.

Had a nice ride last night she's was really good in the ummmm DARK oy I'm not ready for riding in the 1/2 light for the next umteen months oh well. Gonna try for another ride tonight and since my boss said I could leave early just maybe it won't be in the dark!

Good morning. This morning while watching the news I thought of you Diane and Sundays... they said they got almost 2 inches of rain in GA yesterday.

Today I have already had my coffee, now I'm going to feed the kids breakfast and then head over to my mother in laws to sew some stuff. I have never sewn and she's teaching me. AH!!!! I'm going to recover my rocking chair for my sister in law for her new baby/nursery. She's doing cowboy theme and I got the cutest fabric to match her stuff! I might post pics when it's all finished.

Good morning all! I got up not long ago and took more cold meds.. I'm coming out on the other side now! LOL However, DS is not doing so well. He's in school today, but still wheezing almost constantly. He's not crashing like most colds (he usually gets pneumonia), but isn't getting over the "hump" either, so I have him an appointment for tomorrow AM.

As for me, I give blood at 1pm today, and after that I meet the bus and all that stuff.. fun fun!

Diane/SM, I STILL want to get over soon.. something/someone just doesn't want me to this week! :rant:

I could try to blame the WB's but that wouldn't be entirely fair, since I should know how to practice self discipline, lol!

Morning all.
Very crazy day today and a very emotional night last night. There was a tragic accident near our home on Tuesday and we found out yesterday who was involved (someone we knew through a mutal friend, a young guy with a wife and children killed by an OUI driver). Then another older gentleman suffered a heart attack and died while driving yesterday whom we knew quite well. Wanda called and it seems "K" pretty much fried Smokes hocks. They were able to inject and the prognosis is okay, but guarded. I am going to take a baseball bat to "K"'s knees and see how she likes it.

School called and Jonathan has a severe headache so I had to take him Tylenol as he does not have a docs. note of file for the nurse to dispense anything.

My student are wound was today is there last day of the week because we have a workshop day tomorrow.

I will be stealing ANYTHING choc. you guys have to share.

I'm stuck with a lot of homework today, but if I get it all finished I'm planning on doing Friday's homework as well then I'll have a four day weekend! Heh, pretty genius, eh? The ponies are great, real dirty, a tad fuzzy, but overall good. I want to ride them, but it's muddy out now from the rain! I'm not bumming too much because as I have said before, I love the rain. ♥ Now I just need to find breakfast and I'm off to schoolwork. Take care everyone! It's a beautiful day here today - blue skies and sunshine... but we had our first frost this morning and the weather man says there'll be snow flurries on I-90 today (that's only 60 miles from here). It's warmed up to 48 now but it was 31 when I first got up... need to check all horse blankets today and make sure all four are clean and ready to throw on if these temps get worse.

I am WORKING from home today... and a week ago this wasn't a hard thing - but now that the WB's have made this great forum it is VERY hard to stay focused. I try to do work tasks and then "allow" myself to check back in... but this is so much more fun than contracts and cold calls.:(

Well, on that note - I'd better go do some more work.

Today in astronomy we were talking about inertia... and the professor figured out a way to teach us kinesthetic learners about it! I got to pull a table cloth out from under 2 plates, 2 candles, a vase with a bunch of flowers in it and an apple. AND I didn't knock anything over! I was very excited... and now I understand inertia perfectly. :D He recorded it with a high-speed camera... I'll see if I can get him to upload it so I can post it for you!

I read everyone's posts, but I don't have time to respond to everyone (gotta commence hysterical last-minute-studying tactics for my second of four tests in this history class :rant:), but I hope everyone's having a great day! I'll chat it up with ya'll this evening. :D

Thursday, why can't it be Friday! Man, this week has been brutal...may I say that I am just losing faith in people these days? I have had more rude, mean and downright viscious people come into the office this week then ever! It's really testing my soul I swear. :cry: I could use a Gin and Tonic 'bout now.

At least I have the forum to keep me sane during the work-day and when I'm done the horsey does his duty and makes me smile :)

Plan on riding after work in what little daylight I have left and then home to clean/vacuum/laundry so my dog doesn't start her itchies and scratchies. Maybe a movie after that to help me unwind?

In other, less disguisting news... I was concerned about the midterm I took in Marketing on Tuesday (I'm one of two non-marketing majors in the class - but I was fairly certain I had passed the test)... and the professor came in today, ranting about how terrible the grades were and how they ranged from 48 to 98 and the few who passed earned their passing grades. :doh:

So I was completely sure that I had failed, miserably. 48 here I come! My test was one of the last ones she handed back (so I'd sat there, watching all the marketing majors squirm in their seats at their grades, and had completely given up any and all hope). :help:She handed it back to me and I looked at my grade and I made a 96. Which was the second highest grade in the class!! :clap:

I had ya'll almost worried there, didn't I? :p How'd the rest of ya'll's days go? :)
