I leave tomorrow for my trail ride!! Wooohoooo! :cowboy:

I still need to finish packing, I only have half of my clothes all packed up. And that doesn't count my inflatable mattress, sleeping bag, blanket, horse stuff, etc. OMG! :crazy:

I have to leave for school in a bit for my advisory meeting but after that I will be full-on in packing mode! And me and my bestie at the barn are going shopping tonight for goodies.

I hope Dixie is ready!

I will NOT forget the camera! Believe me! :) And I'm sure Dixie will take excellent care of me, she's my girl. She's also going to have to help her younger horse friend, Vegas, as this will his first off-property trail ride.

HPH - It's been a little chilly but it's actually supposed to get in the 70s this weekend. I hope it doesn't get too hot! Or too cold for that matter!

Vicky, the original plan was to go to Malibar and Mohican but I think now we'll just be heading straight for Mohican. It's a OPHC organized trail ride.

Sounds like sooooo much fun, wish I would go on an organized trip out into the wilderness! I usually have to go by my lonesome or with a friend if I plan it out right. Is Dixie real good on the trails or will this be kind of a test? Of course you are expected to bring back pics so keep your camera safe and secure, it needs to come home in one piece! Packing for these types of trips is fun, don't forget anything!

Well, I just finished packing and me and my friend got most of our shopping done tonight. I forgot get bagels and shampoo and conditioner! I will be picking these up in the morning. I always do this!!

Mandzanita - I will be going with 6 other riders and horses, two 4 horse trailers. My bestie from the barn is coming with her 2 year old, both BOs with their trail horses, two other boarders (one with a paso fino, one with a TB), and an out of towner with a barrel racer...should be interesting. Dixie's big trail test was my birthday trail ride back in July and she was an absolute gem! She was amazing for me and I'm hoping she will live up to her big standard this weekend, this will our first trail ride that involves camping. I am trying so hard to not forget anything, there is so much stuff!! Especially now since I have to worry about the horse stuff as well, I didn't have to do that on my last longer trail ride before I had Dixie! And believe me I will be sure to keep my camera safe and sound, I love that thing!

I'll be back in a few days guys! I won't be on until probably late sunday or monday! Enjoy all of your weekends :)
