Mini Vent over not riding

I haven't ridden in two months! I haven't even been around horses in two months! My mom saw my eq team coach last night and she came back and told me that they weren't really giving lessons right now because of the cold. :(

My mom doesn't want to even think about buying another horse because of the economy and if she did want to buy a horse the first one she'll think about is a little 3 or 4 year old Morgan that we know absolutely nothing about. Last spring when I was looking to buy a horse (that's when I got Lady) the morgan was one of the horses we looked at. He was like 2 or 3 then and greenbroke. Mom :rolleyes: fell in love with him at once. We've never seen him out of his stall, let alone ridden or handled him! We haven't even seen him in over a year and yet she's convinced that she gets to choose the next horse we buy anyway.

Sorry it went from a vent over not riding to a vent over my mom, but I need to vent somewhere.

Man I'd hate to not be able to ride for two months. Heck I would hate to be off for just a week. Hope everything works out for you and your back in the saddle soon.

I feel for you Horserider! Now that I am hooked on riding I can see how hard 2 months would be--I am already disliking all the nasty weather we are having and not being able to ride much! At least I'm sure you're not alone--alot of people aren't riding in this weather! Hang in there!

I am soooo sorry! It's hard not to be able to ride, and it's hard to have parents who think they know everything even though they sometimes don't... Just hang in there, you'll make it.:)
