So I just got off Mr.Vic. He was excellent, as usual! For a 3yr old he is surpisingly well behaved under saddle. A little head tossing, which stopped when I did a quick little quip with the reins. He even trotted on the rail, so I know he is getting over his concern about the pool and the tall brick wall. We did w/t each direction, I had to call it quits 10mins early as I started getting dizzy and my head started to hurt so he got a break today. My helmet put pressure on both areas I was hit so I am not surprised I got a bit of a headache.
As a cool off I just hand walked him, we walked over to the pool side and he met one of the pool noodles, tried to eat it , then he reached over the fence and tried to drink the pool water. AHHH  NO NONONO!! :nono:
My neighbor was doing yard work so I asked her to peek over the fence every once and a while to make sure I wasn't lying unconscence on the ground. :) i don't like to ride the greenies when there is no one around.
Still have paddocks to clean but thats gonna wait until I get my niece from school and my head stops throbbing! ;)

thats great you had a good ride. I dont like riding new horses alone either, but at my barn that rarely happens haha. He is a TB right? my tb eats everything! my friend was shaking a plastic bad and just about every horse had a heart attack, except for Ben who walked right up to it and take a bite. haha

Last friday I decided to see who would win in a head butting contest, me or Vicor, Vicor won when he accidentely hit me in the head with his head which then forced the back of my head to slam into the metal pipe fence. (ow)
So the brim of my helmet was putting pressure on the spot where Vic's head hit and the back of the helmet was putting pressure on where my head it the fence. I have actually had a nasty headache since, the ibprophen isn't even killing it, so I guess I still have a few more days of healing before I can ride comfortably again. :(
Good news is the pad we bought to fix my saddle fit until we either A) get a new saddle to fit Vic or B) until he fills out more and my saddle fits him, came in and it will work with keeping saddle from putting uneven pressure on his withers. :)
