So I am asking for horse clippers for christmas, and was wondering if anyone has experiance with these. I want them for small clipping jobs, whiskers and such, and then some body clipping, but not a full clip job

Never tried those but I have these:

I use them for bridle paths, some random dog clipping and just to have around if I need them. Never had a problem, batteries go forever and they're quiet and handy. They might be too small for body clipping, depending on how much you're actually going to clip, you'd have to make a lot of lines.

Not familiar with that brand... but it seems to fit what I've learned are the good rules for buying clippers. You may not need the most expensive ones, but don't buy the cheapest ones... It seems in the middle of the pack.

I don't care for the andis brand. I've used Oster clippers for years. I've never had a problem with Oster. I use them on the horses, dogs, and the boys hair. Throw a surgical blade on and clean up the neck area as sharp as a razor.
I definately gotten my moneys worth out of my clippers. One set is from the 1970's and the other set is from the early 80's. Keep them clean, oiled/greased and change out the brushes and you have a clipper for EVER!

well i dont know about that brand but i bought a clipper set form Wal-Mart 2 years ago and they still work. i spend $20 on them, they are conair brand. i use them to cut hubby's hair, trim whiskers and bridle paths, have used them to clip my old geldings legs and he had thick fur on his legs. as gaited said keep them clean and oiled and they will last for a long time

Oster clippers for sure ,even for small jobs! I did get a second blade for taking hair down around cuts. I thinks a#40. Get the lube as that helps to keep the blade running smoothly. I also remove and wipe the head after each use. :) What a good xmas gift!!
