My Vacation

Wow, so very busy. I still didnt get that nap I needed..lol

Well, day one was Friday the 5th, flew in, drove to my brothers. My neice, oh my gosh, she is 6ft, wow, smart, and has it going on. She is doing so many things, choir, bowling, this and that, I cant keep up, AND she is driving. My how grown up she is.
I went and got my son the next day, and then the grandkids, then back to Lacey to my brothers for the day. We had a great time.
Sunday my brother, his family and I went to my dads. I stayed, they went home after dinner. I stayed for 2 days.
Tuesday, went to get my son and grandsons again, then my son and I got a hotel for the night.
Wednesday, went to see my friend Becky. Her mom is a blast.
Thursday, I went and got my son and we went back to my brothers house, as my other brother was coming in that evening and wanted to see my son, by now, Im worn out, driving here and there ya know...lol
Friday, took my son back to his place, he had to work, then I went to my sisters. My brothers were on their way and got there before I did.
Sat, my brother and I went back to my dads. We went through a mass amount of old family photos.
Sun, we relaxed a bit. My SIL and brother put up decorations, and we went to dinner, thats it, we were wiped out.
Monday, I flew home.
My camera is old as it is eating batteries like candy, so it died on Sun morning and I decided to not put anymore batteries in it.

Oh, I did forget to put in the day we went to see WB. I bad. Im sorry. I did remember I needed to upload pics here though. Heck, I am still not able to hold a conversation without stumbling, Im so tired. My friend Val has been having a good time with it. That was part of Thursdays event.
We had a great time WB, sorry for being slow here...uh duh, snooze.
Bay and my brother got along wonderfully. He had a great time there too. Hasnt touched a horse in eons.

Thank you ALL!! It was a very good visit. I have SOOOOOO many pics..lol but didnt want to bomb you with each detail, so I picked through them. You did get all my WB visit though, that was a bad camera day:mad:
Thanks for the complements on my son and his sons. Ive always been partial to my son, hes my bud.:)

I did not tell you but it really is OK. I got an email from my sis the day after I saw her. It was yet another reply to the email I sent in Oct. She told me in the reply before this one that she would stop it about dad, yet turned around and sent another long @ss email about him again. So, Im calling her, telling her she has a choice, she can either stop it about dad to me, or she can not talk to me again. Im done. This is her issue with him that she needs to heal. Dad cant fix it, I cant fix it, my brothers cant fix it, and the stupid Psychologists cant fix it(they make it worse actually). She needs to heal and let him go. End of story. No dad for her, no pain. Memories yes, but they need not be painful. Heck, my eldest brother and I talked about all kinds of stuff that dad did, he's still dad. Hes a toughy, always has been. I still love him.
My eldest brother is smart, he hears me, he hears her, tells us how he feels about what ever, lets us soak with it and make our own decision. He also told her why I was so pissed at her, guess it didnt sink in hu.
We either learn to accept our parents as they are or we dont. Children will not change their parents, no matter what age they are.

Oh, that was a good last comment for our teens here. Sad to say, but true. ((HUGS))to our teens, we love you, so do your parents, even when all is not seen eye to eye.

Not really. I was only gone 10 days. It is cool seeing him at this stage. We(livaward and I) decided Texs birthday would be Sep 25th, which puts him at 2 1/2 months now. Hes such a big boy. I cant get over how dang cute he is, and smart, oh how smart.

Hi Vick--welcome back! It was awfully quiet without you! What is it about sisters--I have one that is a pill too. I just ignore her. Get together with her and everyone else to keep peace but I can do without her. It took me a long time to come to this conclusion. You sound like you're making some good decisions too.
