Update on Dad

Some of you may remember a post on my dad and being diaged with prostrate cancer in the old forum. Well I wanted to let you all know that he went in for his check up tests. The doctor told him that he'd be happy with a 1.0 (cant remember what the test was called, sorry) result and dads came back a .4! We're all thrilled! It's the best Christmas present we could have gotten this year!

My friend's husband has prostate cancer and his #'s came back good and she found out her son is in remission from his cancer so it's great news all around.

Thanks everyone. I know you all were telling me not to worry, that he's be okay but my family doesn't have the greatest luck with cancer so this has taken a great load off of us. He's even non-radioactive enough for the kids to be around him for Christmas (for those who don't remember, he had the seeds put in him to kill the cancer and the kids couldn't be around him at all for a time). I think it'll be enough 'happy' to balance out the fact that this will be the first Christmas since Gramma died.

Oursarge - I'm glad that your husband and son are doing so well too!
