I just wanted to share that I am more than pleased with my grades!

Biology -- 92%
Honors English -- 93%
Geometry -- 82%
Health -- 84%
Math Strategies -- 93%
Honors History -- 83%

They may not be good grades to others, but the last time I had an A in Biology was in fifth grade. I am kind of bumming I have a B in Honors English, but I have a test today and if I do well enough it should raise it to an A. I am used to barely passing in math, so to have a B is insane. B in Health, that's fine by me. Math Strategies is kind of like a tutor class for poeple that don't do well in math and I'm more than content with an A. Honors History is extremely hard, all the honors students are complaining the teacher is making the class too hard and I think they are going to make some changes to that class, but I'm still bumming I have a C. Maybe I should switch to regular history? Not sure yet, I really want to keep trying, I think it's kind of shameful an honors student as a C in the honors class, though! :o I am so close to all A's and Bs'! I do kind of poor in school, but on the standardized tests I received a 98 in English, and a 99 in Math - funny, eh?

Thanks for reading my boring post, lol. :D

It's not boring! Good for you! I guess your grading scale is in 10s....90-100 is an A, 80-89 is a B, etc.?

My H.S. was stupid, an A was 93-100, B was 85-92, C was 77 to 84 I think...

Thank you! I am trying mah best.

Wait- in GA, that is all As and Bs.. what strange country do you live in? For non-honors classes here is the scoring thing they go by:

A -- 90%-100%
B -- 80% to 89%
C -- 70% to 79%
D -- 60% to 69%
F -- 59% and below.

For my honors classes, here is the scoring system thing they go by:

A -- 94% and up.
B -- 84% to 93%
C -- 74% to 83%
D -- 64% to 73%
F -- 63% and below.

Something odd like that.

Yea, your honor scoring system is like my whole H.S. and grade school was (maybe a private school thing). When I got to college and got a 92% and it said 'A,' I was psched!

Isn't it a tough scoring system? So grr.

It is, I feel your pain!

I always used to mess with my cousin b/c she was in a public school w/the 10 point scale so I always said my classes were harder since the scale was smaller

i have a similar grading system
93-100 A
85-92 B
78-85 C
and i dont really know the rest
i go to public high school and my school district just has a tough grading scale i guess

Okay I see now. That may have been true with our honors classes too, but I never took any as I should have.

I totally didn't apply myself as much as I could/should have in high school (though I did still make pretty darn good grades).. so I applaud you for doing so.

You did great, Caitlin! If you stack the percentages against each other- honors and regular, you'd see what I mean.

You'd probably be bored to tears with regular high school work!

Thanks they are good I guess, but not great...my sister is a straight A student and just once I wanna be the smart daughter! So I'm going to try even harder (dunno if that's possible!). =P
