When you get a invite for a christmas party at his home....

My husbands nick name for me is AP.. "Accident Prone"..

Last week we got a invite to my doctors christmas party for tonight..Yes we are going. :)

If I were to ever post on here about most of my days you all would be amazed I'm still among the living. I'd also would be beet red from embarsment(sp?)

A two things that have happened to me in the last 3 months you don't know about.Because I either talk about my horses or my Daughters

1. Tire explodes in my face . I was sitting on the floor playing with my Dad's kitten when he came by in the Electric scooter.. ..resulting in fractured cheek, jaw, and damage to my right eye plus 21 stitches..

2. Nearly lose my finger while taking the halter off of one horse when other horse reaches over gate and bites at horse that I'm removinmg halter from.....17 stitches

I'm in his office every couple of months either getting stitches or staples putting in or removed.

Rule #1 - chase the other horses away from the gate before un-haltering the horse you are leading or
teach the horses to lead without a halter, ie, hand on their cheek or

Do not use the snap on the halter so you can remove it quicker. OR

Use a rope on their neck to lead them so you don't have to take off the halter at all.

Didn't think the other horse which is a 14hh was going to be able to reach over a 6 ft high gate and get me while I was removing the halter off of a shetland. It was just a freak thing..

Sorry about your accidents. If my Dr had a Christmas party I'd probaby be invited too. Well maybe, he might be afraid I'd fall going into his house!

I'd had a bladder infection on and off for months, I ended up in the ER with a bad allergy attack to I have no idea what, my husband's bird landed on my face and bit my nose up really bad, I had a virus and then when I went to bend down to get some Christmas stuff I threw my back out and I still can't walk right. I think he's tired of taking my phone calls!
