How many of you in the midwest got a snow day today?! :cool:

I was so happy I got up at 5:00 to check my school's website to see we have a snow day. Thank goodness too, because I can't see the road am I doubt my lil stratus could make the huge 45 minute drive today without ending up in the ditch:doh:! Of course my teachers were all prepared and made sure I e-mailed all my papers and reports to them this morning!

So excited...I think Trouble and I are going to go on a snowy trail ride later today!!!

It's snowing here now, we have a few inches so far. They called school off first thing this a.m. so my man is home helping me with things that need doing. It's nice I'm giving orders and doing what I ask! I like that! I'll do the tree though, that takes all of 15 or 20 minutes!

Enjoy! We got lots of rain and are at record high temps - its almost 70 out there! Too bad its so dang muddy.

SNOW DAY!!!! Me too! We've got about a foot on the ground right now. If we'd gotten this early in the week I probably could've gotten 2 or 3 days off.

Wow. It was 75 here today. I went out running in shorts and a tank top! HAHA! I WISH it would snow here. That would be nice.

Thanks everyone...apparently we got around 13 inches AND a inch of ice. They finally got all the roads plowed around 5:00 so I headed over to ride then. Surprisingly its about 40 degrees and I ran outside with my snow pants and a t-shirt and didn't get cold. I love snow days they are like a surprise party...no negatives.

So I started Christmas Break a Day Earlier!

Your crazy Grunge. A T-shirt and you didn't get cold? I actually ran once around my backyard once wearing a T-shirt and shorts once. It was like 20 degrees with 3 inches of snow. Not a smart idea.

yup I guess I am pretty crazy...usually I am always cold but not today...weird. I remember when we went down to Flordia one year to visit my grandma's friend and it was in the 50s. People were wearing winter coats...and my brothers and I were running around in the ocean. And people were staring at us :rolleyes: surprisingly most people don't go in ocean when its "cold" in Flordia.
