Alright yall, well i got my other surgery yesterday. We got there at 730am and didnt get out of there until like 4. I got my hand (was only sapposed to be my finger) rebroke. The vibrations from breaking my finger refractured two other bones in my hand. Anyway my finger was rebroke because it was put together wrong and cartilage was in the center of my bone instead of at the joint like it should be, i didnt have cartilage in my joint. They also did bone graphs( gross but i got some random dead person's bone in my hand now, cause i didnt want them to harvest it from my hip and my wrists were too small for it to be taken from there). i got 2 more temperary pins.

It normally takes your average person 30 minutes to come out of anesthesia, it took me nearly 3 hours due to me passing out 2 more times from my kidney( was expected to happen so they were prepared).

Any way can i just say that i LOOOOVE my horse. dad and i went to the barn after we left the hospital to take care of Dreamer. We brought the horses in and put them in their stalls, Dreamer stopped like 5 feet away from me and stretched out his neck and sniffed my hand carefully. he wouldnt walk by my right side. Dreamer went all the way around me, came up behind me on my left side and wrapped his head over my shoulder across my chest and sniffed my right hand some more. Its funny how much they know.

Well i didnt hurt too bad last night so i decided i would try to work. Some drunk guy came up and SQUEEZED my hand( i had it wrapped, looked like a hard cast but its a soft one). i said" i suggest you let go in less then 3 seconds or im going to deck you i just got surgery this morning on that hand". Then i kicked him out and went home. Decided its best not to work tonight as i dont want that to happen again.

Good news is i believe i only got 1 surgery left after this one!

I know you'll be so glad when you get that last one over with! I'm glad you have such a great horse - when I went to see Leggy after my laproscopy he wouldn't rub his head on me, was very careful not to brush against me, and kept the other horses away completely. It's wonderful to know you're that loved. :)

So your horse knows....but the guy didn't. And they call horses "stupid"?! uh huh. Dreamer knows how much he's loved & is returning it becuase he can see that his Momma is in pain :) Better luck trying work again, & kudos to you for warning the idiot. I think I would've just back-handed him right then & there!

Prayers for a speedy & CORRECT healing!
