What do you do when you have a boring job to do? Take the camera out with you and see what happens!

I do not like washing windows, but it has to be done if I want to be able to see well outside all winter, lol!

So I thought I could make the job at least semi interesting, and see what I could capture on camera.

Little Red in the feeder- not too worried about anything:

BTW, my hay shed does NOT lean- I have no clue why the pics turned out that way, lol!

The gray squirrels were actually more interested in what I was up to:

And Damien overseeing the operation, and keeping an eye on the squirrels:

Well, sort of, anyway!

Notice the paper towel roll to the left- Damien did, too, lol!

I had to convince him those were mine, not his play toy!:D

I love those pics! So is that a red squirrel up there? I wish we had them around here, they're so cute!

Yes, that's Little Red, as we call him/her. There actually friendly little critters. When they're young like that, they'll get along fine with the grays, or if they don't feel crowded, they'll stick around when they're older as well.

If they don't have their space, though, they'll start trying to run off the grays. Normally, we don't have too much of a problem here, though.

Around here they all look brown to me ;) Quick little bugger he was though - I never thought I could move that fast - LOL

I wonder why I hardly ever see a red squirrel around here.....if I see one a year that is a lot......dang, and they're so cute. We have quite a few albino squirrels tho, and jet black ones too.

I've only seen one black squirrel here- he/she hung around for almost a year, and then he or she was gone. Unfortunately, I haven't seen one since.

I have a pic, but it's not very good- not sure if I would be able to make it better or not. Sure was cute!

CUte pictures and a good idea.

Last weekend at my dad's we had my son (2 1/2), daughter (1) and my dad's dog all lined up at the sliding glass door staring out on the deck at a big gray squirrel eating at the feeder. i wish i would have had my camera then!

Isn't that always the way it goes? Take the camera out and you see nothing- without it, there's tons of pic taking options.

I cheated- I have a belt loop on my camera case, and I was keeping busy, he,he! Ignore the wildlife, and they come around.
