Interesting coincidence

I have been talking to a woman about possibly half-leasing one of her arabian mares and when she said she wanted to see me ride I told her the name of the stable where I take lessons. Well it turns out she is their neighbor! That works out well, she can literally walk over to see my lesson. :D I think her mares are beautiful, here's the pictures she sent me :

Btw, if I want to half-lease a horse should I get a vet check for it?

I would say a vet-check probably depends on the type and length of lease you are doing. If you are doing a month-to-month lease, I probably wouldn't worry about it - if you are committed to a year, say, then I'd want to maybe make sure the horse was totally sound and healthy. The other reason is if maybe you are responsible for vet care, I would make sure the horse was healthy to start with!

Thanks! When I went to a pot luck/tack cleaning thing this evening at the place where I take lessons I saw the two mares out grazing next to the road. They're so pretty! :clap: I also am still waiting for information on the gelding I mentioned before. His owner said she was going out of town this weekend but she'll send me info when she gets back. He is trained in dressage, which is a major bonus for me. So things seem promising, between the two arabian mares, the paint gelding, and the qh gelding where I take lessons, surely I'll find something!
