Hubby and I made sure we were home in time to watch it being season premier. Course he fell asleep in his recliner half way thru. Anyway, I don't know how I didn't wake him up yelling at Nick to shoot McKeen!! That evil evil man. The funeral at the end made me cry. Anyone else have that problem?

I was hoping that Nick did not shoot him. See, Mr. McKeen would spend a very unpleasant time in prison which would be a worse fate than death.
And yes, I cried at the end too. I don't do well with funerals, either make believe or real.
I would say that this seasons premier was better than the Ghost Whisperer's. I was disappointed in her's.. But I do still love the show.

Yeah, it was one of the best season premiers I've seen so far. I don't know what it is, but seeing men cry, especially normally stoic ones like Grissom, just tears me all to pieces. The funeral was two-hankie scene for sure!

I was hoping that Nick did not shoot him...

Me too. I was sitting there saying "Don't DO it! Don't DO it! He's not worth it! It'll ruin your life if you do!" But it sure would've felt good if he could have done it and gotten away with it.

I wanted Mckeen to die, but it definately would have been bad for Nick. I was so glad he did what he did. And to see Grissom and Nick both in tears just killed me.

<--- Sobbed like a baby in the begining then again at the funeral.
Warrick was my favorite!
I am glad Nick didn't shoot him! I would have been !

I watched it. I haven't been keeping up but I do love CSI. I didn't get teary but that's most likely because my cats and dog decided to use the house as a race track at that time so I was distracted.

Did you see the show after words? I think it was called 11th hour? Hubby said it was a brand new show. Seemed like it was a spin off of CSI. The lead character reminds me of Grissom in a way though they don't look alike. It's going to be another Crime/investigation type show but with racier topics. This first show was about cloning humans so I have a feeling it's going to have that X Files feel to it possibly.

I must say I didn't even recognize Sara at first. I thought she wanted to leave the show though? What made her come back.

Seeing Gil cry did get me choked up.

I didn't think that Warwick would actually did though!
