And you all must of been up way to late, or there would of been a good morning thread started...lol. Hope ya had a grand time!!!

Critters fed, Im dressed and on my way out the door.
May be my last day at work, depending on the doggy crowd tomorrow. Im fine with today being my last day instead of tomorrow. Either way, Texs board is paid for....wohooo.

So, I have not made a new yrs resolution, not into lieing to myself..lol

I did ask Bob if I could get a 3 month membership to a Gym for my birthday, so Ill be starting my search on that. I didnt know how out of shape I was until I went back to work,,,,gesh, what a weenie, but I did loose 3 lbs which was cool.

No - I'm not confused, today is finally our Christmas Day! We put off our big family gathering because the snow and icy roads last week, and are finally going to celebrate today. Truck is loaded with presents, it's pouring rain and may be a little nasty out still, but we're goin!

Horses were all put on edge last night by all the fireworks, and so was I... so I was up at midnight, but didn't want to be. :coffee:

Actually stayed up with friends last night to ring in the new year, so consequently, I didn't get up until 7:45 this morning- sheesh! My live cat alarm clock failed me this morning- I think he knows it too, because he had a guilty look on his face when I got up, lol!

Happy New Year all! Spent last night in downtown Columbus and got home around 1 or 2. Today the plan is just relaxing....I'd like to do some shopping, but I have no idea what'll be open. :doh:

Tomorrow my boyfriend and I are headed down south to Cincinatti to visit a friend of mine and go shopping at IKEA!!!! Never in my life have I been so excited to go to a furniture store. LOL.

Happy New Year everyone! I woke up this morning to find that one of my lovebirds had laid an egg during the night or very early this morning! Explains her behavior yesterday, at first I was worried she was sick, but then I realized that she may be about to lay an egg...and, she did! lol.

I actually stayed up past midnight which is a first in years. Today I'm like zombie woman, guess I shouldn't stay up that late! I was supposed to go to the stable but it's 5 degrees, I'll wait 'til it gets warmer.

Tonight is the Dream House on HGTV, it looks to be so pretty, can't wait to see it. I probably won't enter since I'd never win anyway plus the taxes on the houses are so much I don't think any winner has ever actually lived in the house but it is pretty outside and if I lived there I'd be near one of my cousins. How sad and boring am I that I'm looking forward to watching Dream House?!

The horses seem warm, wish their mother could stay warm. I think I need a warmer climate. My husband plans on leaving teaching this year, maybe we can look for a warmer place that would make for a good 2009 as long as the place doesn't have rattlesnakes I'll be happy, lots of mountains, no rattlesnakes and a nice climate, not too hot, not too warm. Is there such a place?!!!!

Is it a good egg to be hatched into a baby lovebird? Tyler is a girl I worry about her getting egg bound when she's old enough to lay eggs. One more thing for me to worry about!

Happy New Year! I was up until 3...woke up at 8 & lets just say I'm excited & I couldn't get back to sleep lol. I had a GREAT time last night, & now I'm impatiently waiting for a call to go for a joy ride in 1 of several classic cars ;)

Happy New Year. We have been up since 8 or so. We didn't go out last night. In fact, it was the first time in YEARS that hubby and I didn't stay up til midnight. We were in bed at 11 or so.

His entire family (aunts, cousins, relatives) are all up from last night until Sunday, so it will be a lonnnng weekend.

I'm crabby today. But trying to get over it.

Well I'll say good evening everyone ;) Hubby and I went out last night :) and got home hmmm well late this morning. I tried to sleep late but that didn't work so I was getting things cleaned up before we headed out to pick up my step son :) got dinnner on the way home and have finally sat down to relax I'm not figuring I'm going to last very long tonight.

Happy New Year.... I stayed up till 1:30am and then had to get up at 7am to go on a New Years day ride.
It was a little chilly with the wind but I made it on a 2.5hr ride. I rode my friends Paint. Hayway we had a bombfire and some hot choc. Then when we were all done we had a potluck. It was fun and nice.
My New years resolution is to not drink so much soda and more water and milk.

Went out to see a local live band and only stayed til 1am.......It was snowing on the way home and more snow today and tonight.:doh: We went for a short ride around the property and came and had a nap!! Back to the usual for tommorrow....I got a dog sitting job for the week-end....that will be four dogs, 16 wet paws and 4 cold touges...
