I am in he process of picking out stuff from Dover to get started in English. I also found a pair of nice Ariat's, used, but $45 shipped! I am going to get half chaps to go with them, as well as a on of other stuff! I am going to start out Western because that is what I know better! I am looking into Western. I did get a new English saddle for Christmas, but I think I want to get one discipline down pretty good then add another one. The saddle will be there next year :D My horse was broke Western, and that is what I learned to ride, so I figured it would be easier to do it that way. A girl was taking lessons on him, but I don't think she is now, but she was doing English with him and I guess he was doing ok, but she knew what she was doing, she has been taking lessons a few years I believe, so just Western for me for now. I hope to go to a small local open show at the end of the summer, but we'll see. I am going to call another lady on lessons today. The first lady has never called me back:(

I will definitely keep everyone posted...I will try to get pics too, but I will more than likely be taking them by myself. I can drive the trailer on my own now, so I don't think my parents will go, but I will make my fiance go:D He can take pics and videos! Here is the link to the place I am calling today: http://spiritoffreedomfarm.com/Welcome.html

ah, I forgot to add, they have like an obstacle course, and my horse is like terrified of everything it seems. So I am hoping to work him on that stuff. I am also going to see if I can trailer out on my own time and use the arena or course. The first lady I called has an indoor arena and I guess if you take lessons there you can use the arena anytime. She never called back though. This place I am going to check out today has a small indoor, and is a little bit closer to the place I board. I have heard they have had strangles, but I get emails all the time from where I posted on a local forum about boarding and lessons and I hear good things on this place, so I am going to check it out and if I am not happy I can always go somewhere else! I will post on here tonight after I call the lady and see what's up. I also have to get my horse into the vet, so I need to call them also!
