Well I got my private English lessons all lined up !! My first one is this coming Thursday morning !!! I am so excited !! The trainer lady only lives 3 miles from me WoW it sure is a small world. I will be taking the first few on her horse then I will be taking them on Prize. She even said she could come to my place to give me and my son lessons once we get are riding ring done. Now I need to be buttering hubby up. :innocent: He wanted to wait till Spring to start on it. I defiantly need to be making some of his favorite dishes. :innocent:

Good luck, you'll do great. I've been thinking about taking some lessons over the fall/winter. I've kicked around entering some local shows. But since I've never entered before, thought I could learn. :)

That sounds great, it's been so long since I've ridden English, or had lessons....it was maybe about the late 1990's since I last rode English. Will you be doing saddle seat, or more hunt seat, or dressage? Be sure and take your camera along too, you know how we crave photos here!

Oops sorry Remali almost missed your post. My lessons is for Hunt seat. I just got a new horse well almost new I owned him 3 years ago and just got him back. There is another thread about him some where on here. While in his other home he was taught Englishing riding and only rode English. So I decided to give it a try. Hope I don't make to much a fool of myself LOL !! I got private lessons just in case that way only me and one other person will see. LOL !!

You will do fine. He already knows his job, so you should learn pretty easily.

Good Luck Rhonda! I ride both but prefer my English saddle 4 around the barn playing around! It's much more comfier then my western to me. BUT that is only b/c I've been riding English for so much longer then western! I'm sure it would be the other way around if I rode Western longer! Let us know ho it works out 4 ya!
