Is it possible?

I am going to start lessons soon and was wondering if wanting to possibly show, only if things are going well, in like august or a later month this year. I was going to do English and Western but I think I will just stick to Western right now. What do you guys think? I will be taking a lesson a week.

Well if the horse has been shown before and you are up to it then it's never too early to show! I know people who have no clue who have went to shows for experience etc. Most first shows are an experience for people that haven't shown before and it will only get better. First Western Pleasure show I did I had no lessons ( just riding on my own ) and the mare had some training, we got fourth!

As long as you feel confident in your riding and your horse is ready then I say it's never too early to go to a show.
