Morning all--we got some snow in Northeast Ohio, but so much as predicted, so instead of being snowed in and sitting in front of the t.v. today, I may actually have to go out and run errands, etc. Ah, well.

Cinammon rolls for all--with icing--enjoy!

Morning all! I'm up and just watching the weather. We had a ride planned today but it was supposed to rain all day so it got cancelled. Looks like the weatherman was right. It's not raining here right now, but it's coming. Guess I'll just hang about the house and try to do some cleanup. The rain's supposed to be outta here by tomorrow so we'll probably ride somewhere then. It's gonna be in the 30's and windy though so we'll have to bundle up. Have a good one y'all!

Good Morning from NY! Oh Arrow I will have a cinnamon roll Too! Yummy I have coffee on or hot chocolate.. We are getting 10" of snow starting in the afternoon. Everything is still covered with ice from the last storm:mad: so it should be interesting shoveling Have a warm Sat. what ever you do!

Not up to much today. I can only clean house so much before I get sick of it. Winter is a pain. It's been way too cold lately to do much outside.

Later on today, when it warms up a bit, I may go out to the garage and see how much propane I have left for the garage heater. My friend and I won't be able to replace that thermostat if we're freezing to death, lol!

Good Morning everyone, I'm just sitting here gazing out the window at all the wonderful & beautiful snow that the weather man has predicted for us last night!! O it's so lovely..... NOT! What snow? Are you kidding me ~ remember I live in Delaware! ha ha. Yep no snow, no rain ~no nothing just brrrrr cold!

Boys went hunting this morning so the house is quiet except 4 the dogs & I kicked them out to play 4 a bit so I can enjoy my morning joe! For me, looks like my horsey plans are still intact. We will hopefully be going down the road to an indoor arena & playing 4 a few hours! In case the rain does come & it's a little warmer in there anyway! If we go, I'll take some pictures.

Morning everyone! Just got in from feeding, getting wood with hub and Susey breaking her new halter......
I had her tied and was brushing her and she grabbed a hold of the end of the rope and started pulling on it, well I ticked her off when I took it away from her, she wasn't scared, she pulled back and broke the halter i bought a couple weeks ago that she's wore like twice.:mad: Although it wasn't top quality it was still a nice halter. Next time I"ll buy a stronger one.

Anyhoo we were supposed to get 6-10 inches last night and got like two. I was looking forward to snow since we haven't had much yet, just ice. Getting ready to go for groceries. I'll definetly take a cinnamon roll yummy, coffee too?

Good Morning.. Off to the barn to get my ride in before the snow hits later.. I love cinamon rolls so pass some my way please... waiting to hear from Shels about the last part of the puppy train. I think tomorrow is the day.. I hope we get lots of snow tonight..The more the better for me. At least If I fall off of Brutus again it will be a cushy landing... haha. Have a great day everone.

Good morning!

Snow and a little freezing rain here in central Ohio too! Farrier supposd to be coming at !0:00 to trim and rreshow SONY. I had a lesson on her last weekend and she said she was acting tender and suggested I put shoes back on so she doesn't develop a bad attitude about riding. Would like to have left shoes off until spring--but she seems as though she could be a good western pleasure horse and I have never ridden that before, so I am taking lessons to learn her buttons!

Morning all! Looks like we're getting just a few inches of snow tonight. I live a few hours north of Valley, and it's supposed to hit harder down there than here. I was going to get the snowmobile out today, but if the temp doesn't get above zero. it's not happening. Oh well. Hope everybody has a good day!

Arrow consider yourself very lucky. We got about...6 inches of snow last night and it's still SNOWING!!!!! Why couldn't we have gotten all this yesterday??? :eek: Bad news: my mom decided that procrastination is good and did not go to the grocery store yesterday. So I'm snowed in the house with no food. Maybe my mom will learn that when you are expecting 6-10 inches of snow that night you should not put off grocery shopping. :rolleyes:

So I'll be home most of the day watching it snow. Have a great Saturday everyone and be safe on the icy roads if you live in the Northeast.

Try a horse collar. I use this on my horses and have NEVER had a broken halter. When and if they pull back, they lose their balance and take a step forward. Used a lot at hunt trials where horses are out overnight.

Tons of snow here, hubby and I spent several hourse cleaning the driveway this morning. We only have a lawn mower with blade and a shovel. Knee deep drifts in front of the garage. Dang gelding is attacking the mare again so I split them up. Most times they get along great but he bites her alot and so her mane is patchy and so is her butt. Ticks me off. And she instigates it just as much as he does. Shoving her butt in his face.

Bought industrial strength ice melt yesterday at Theisens. Bob was impressed at how well it melts ice. We should have gotten it long ago because the ice, underneath the snow, makes the lawnmower get stuck

Morning all...cold here in NM again but otherwise it's sunny. Horselvr2478 is off at work and I fixed sausage and eggs this AM. Course, I'd love to have one of those cinnamon rolls please?

Gonna work on the dresser, do laundry, and maybe try to get Horselvr2478's car radio working for her. Take care.

I know it's afternoon, I've been hanging around all morning and just now got on the computer to check and see what's going on here before I start my day.

Cinnamon rolls sounds good, but we're going to McDonald's for lunch.
Hopefully it'll be soon because I'm STARVING... Lol.

Well, I was busy so I missed the morning....lol....so I guess it's Good Afternoon!

The sun's out, but it's cold out, only 12 above here. It's been such a cold snowy winter here, too cold to get outside, so I'm feeling cabin fever settling in!

I may go out to eat with a friend today....otherwise I have a pile of laundry sitting here that needs to get washed, and some cleaning to do.... and a book to finish reading!

Bob is still here, been here since Friday last week. He has a load out tomorrow, yeah....money...lol

Shhh, Tex hasnt peed in the house today. I got real with him, after going to moms the other day, he NEVER peed or pood in her 3 season room at all. We then came home, took him potty, then he did his business in the house. Taking him out more often too.

Dogs are barking, company must be here...lol

Good afternoon....late WIND RAIN just nasty out. I check two of my trails and just a few large limbs to clear. Horses are hiding in the barn most of the day. I have chicken and rice for late lunch. Football afternoon/evening....just hanging out as Hubby is on his way south. I have to prep for an interview on Monday for an accounting job that I hope will help with the bills!!
