I have a very good friend who owns a TB that she has an incredible relationship with. For a variety of reasons, she does not ride the mare. She does; however, spend a good amount of time with her and spends that time grooming and doing ground work. Here is my question: We need a good resource (trainer, author etc.) that she can reference and study some more advanced kind of ground work that they can do together. They have done cavalletti with a variety of different techniques. Putting the poles on the ground, on our "stands" at varied levels (4 in total) and using the fan techniques I see in various books.
Anyone have someone they follow they can tell me about? They have a super relationship - but this horse is smart and mastering all the challenges presented to her. Need more! All suggestions welcome. Thank you!:cowboy:

"101 Horsemanship Exercises" by Rio Barrett and "100 Ways to Improve Your Horse's Schooling" by Susan McBane have alot of exercises in them. The first book has a strong Parelli feel to it but has alot of beyond basic groundwork things in it, so I do recommend it. The second deals with saddle manners more

Thank you! I should have added in my original post that the horse has a knee injury and cannot be lunged. Now the trickonometry might work and looks really good. I appreciate that!:)
