I hated the bikini girl, boy she got on my nerves.The bikini is what got her in NOT her voice, cause it stunk. I loved the Blind fella. He was so sweet and sang great! His voice was awesome. There were only a few that stuck out as being good. Not many.
I end up normally watching the entire season. I watch that, One Tree Hill, Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor or Bachelorette normally. That's my tv shows. Shame OTH and Bachelor are on at the same time though. BIG Bummer! Used to OTH came on from 9-10 and Bachelor 10-11, now Bachelor is 8-10 and OTH 9-10. So I watch one hour of Bachelor and catch the rest on Commiercal breaks of OTH. I think Bachelor is coming on on Saturday nights now though, so that's a big plus. :)

okay, this is the first time I watched so not a whole lot experience of what's really going on. But that girl tonight with the whole prom dress and HORRIBLE FAKE laugh about done me in. Just soooo fake and obnoxious!!!! I liked the last guy but then who wouldn't like a guy willing to take care of his mother like that!

I thought tonight was pretty bad. I actually really liked Jesus even though the judges didn't seem so wild about him. My gosh if they put through the first girl and bikini girl come on!!! Sometimes I honestly wonder why they put people through, I guess to make the show more interesting..... The last guy seemed so sweet, what a good guy!

Each year I have my favorites all the way from auditions, but this year don't think I have found them yet. I loved Blake from the start, Carrie Underwood, Josh Gracin, Kellie Pickler, etc. Hope someone comes along that I just really like! There have been some good people, and I really liked one guy(have to go back and find his name), just not sure yet.

Also, I got to watch most of tonight's but not all of it, so I missed the girl in the prom dress thing. I did see the guy who's helping his mom out and thought he did pretty good and am happy he's helping his mom out. I also liked the guy (can't remember his name) that was near the end who sung the rocker type song. He's a stage actor and did something with "Wicked" or something. I only caught part of that. But I think he did pretty good.

I used to have high expectations on these people, LOL. But then I started listening more with who had true talent and could work on their skills and I've seen a few more over the years. Such as the ones I mentioned above. I give them kudos for even auditioning. lol :p More then I'd be doing. :)

Mouse I can say I haven't watched every season, but have from I think the 3rd one on. :) I have seen clips and small sections of season 1 and 2 but that's it. :) And I didn't watch the entire 3rd season, but since then have. :)

Wow, I always wanted David Archuletta to go far. I liked Brooke White, Kristy Lee Cook, and David Hernandez was okay but definetely not a fave or anything.
David Cook was good for what he did (rock and all) but I just don't prefer that style of Music. lol :p

Yeah she made me sick...probably because she reminds me of someone I'm not so fond of. Girls like that aren't even pretty to me because of the whole "bare-everything" presentation. Sexy is subtlety, confidence, class and style. That chick had none of the above and its lame she got to go through that easily because her voice was not impressive at all. That's true Apache with the wildcard spots, it's hard telling who they bring back. They're doing things a little different this year then the past couple.
I'm glad Kai is taking care of his mom too, he's doesn't sing bad, just not my top pick.
Out of the two groups of 3 that have gone through, I mainly like Michael and Danny out of the first group and Kris out of the second, followed by Allison also out of the second. Adam does good for his type of music but that's not my type. LOL I normally try to look at it though as who does good for what style they sing. Just because they don't do my type of music in my eyes doesn't mean they can't sing. So I try and be open about what style they are singing as to if they sing good with that or not. Ya know?
So far all 6 I think are good for their type of music they sing, but for me my top ones are those above.
Can't WAIT to see Scott though. :) I hope he blows us all away. ;)

My mom is kind of like you, she thinks he'll go far, is good with his style, but doesn't like that style, haha. I think he'll have a record deal if he goes far or not. As far as calling goes, about 99.9% of the time the line is busy. :rolleyes: If you actually get through (which is a miracle :p), it just says something like, "Thank you for voting and watch Americal Idol tomorrow night!" Something like that, it's a male automated voice. Whenever it gets down to like the top five, the idols you voted for have a recorded message thing that plays saying something like, "Thanks so much for voting, watch tomorrow, blah, blah, blah..." So you don't have to talk to some creepy person or something, haha. :D

SO who do we think is going home tonight? My guess is either Anoop (which I don't want to go, his song choice just wasn't good, but he's a great singer) or Jasmine. I really didn't like Megan's performance, but I doubt she'll be going home because she's pretty, lol.

ETA: Forgot to mention I really don't like Allison's voice...is it just me?

Wow, I can safely say I was assuming it would be Anoop. Before the show I was figuring Anoop and Jasmine would go.

I wasn't real sure out when it came to Jasmine and Megan, but out of Anoop and Jorge I was thinking Anoop for sure. But I was wrong, it was Jasmine and Jorge. (Both J's, lol :p)

I jokely say my years of training has turned me into a snob when it comes to singers. I never claim myself to be a great singer but when you spend 5years getting taught by a drill sergnant of a vocal couch like i had then it tends to turn you into a bit of a snob.
Honestly, Adam has a voice... but I feel he is TOO over the top with his songs. If he comes out and wow's me with some quiet relaxed ballad I might change my mind about him but since everyone seems to love his screeching...oops I mean energetic voice I doubt I'll see that.

And Yes, he is true to himself I will 100% agree on that.

I admit he put a twist on it but IMO not a good one. I like it when they make it there own(and are true to themselves), to an extent, not completely axing the song. We muted it here halfway through because it sounded so awful and ear piercing. I have never, I'm dead serious. It just was not good IMO.

Danny is my favorite by a long shot! He can sing and his story is inspirational too. He's just a good guy! I don't think he did as well last night has he's done previously. It was still good, it just wasn't over-the-top good to me.

I thought the one girl that did Jolene did a great job but the judges tore her apart! Simon told her she sounded too much like the original. Heck, I'd take that as a compliment!!!! Lil did a great tribute without making in R&B. She did a country song and showed her ability to sing anything.

Adam's performance was brilliant. Last week was so out there - and - then tonight he went a whole new direction. For those not into last week (I really thought it was pretty out there but later in the week could not get that song out of my head) this week he calmed them down. For those that were good last week, he surprised them!

He has STAR written all over him - regardless of if he wins or not. MHO!!!! He will go very, very far.:popcorn::popcorn:

IMO, I REALLY liked the new look for Adam tonight. You actually got to see his face and just how handsome he is. He looked a LOT like a very young Elvis!
I thought his singing was on a completely different level than everyone else!!!

I also liked Danny and Anoop. The very last girl (can't remember her name) was really good too. She sure doesn't act like she's 16. I thought she was the best female of the night.

I will take a stab at it and say Scott, Michael and the blond girl (with arm tattoo) will be the bottom three. They are okay singers but I don't think they are anywhere near the same level as the rest of the group. I can't believe I'm going to actually agree with Simon but I feel like they are "fillers" right now.

Didn't get on much last night, but wanted to pop in now.
My take on the performances:

Matt - Okay, not my favorite. Good for what he does though I reckon.
Kris - Awesome, he did a good job.
Scott - Fabulous! Awesome awesome job. New direction. Shutup Simon and Randy! (I normally agree with Simon on MOST things but not this) Scott was so confused by what they were saying. Two judges are saying it was a good choice of song, the other two are saying it wasn't. I love Scott for Scott in that he picks songs that are him. He doesn't try to be anyone else! Whatever genre he's given he takes it, and does the best he can with the best song that fits him.
Anoop - He did a pretty good job in my opinion too.
Megan - Not good at all. I wish she'd leave already.
Michael - He did a awesome job to. Loved it!
Lil' - Haven't really liked her, but I don't really like that style of music. For her style she's good, but last night wasn't IMO.
Adam - He did better this week IMO then last. Liked his looks better too, without the makeup,nail polish,etc.
Danny - He did pretty good too IMO.
Allison - Great job by her! She's going to go far in life wether or not it's on Idol.

I'd actually prefer my Top favorite not go all the way. Though I did vote another million times via text. He'll get picked up easier by a label and not be stuck under AI's contract for so long. Though I want him to go for a few more weeks just so I can keep hearing him sing.

My top favs(I have a few): Kris,Scott, Anoop, Michael, Danny and Allison.

My bottom three predications: (Not that I want all of these there, but this is my predication on who'll be there):
Megan, Anoop, Michael or Scott. I'm going out on a limb though and saying I think Megan for sure will be. The others I'm still a lil' unsure about.

Adam - Didn't like it. I liked him to begin with honestly, but since Country week he seems to be getting worse. Maybe it's just me?
Allison - Didn't like her's either last night. I've been liking her's (for her style) but this week wasn't feeling it.
Anoop - I still don't know what to think about his singing. He's good sometimes bad the others. This week I'm just not sure.
Danny - Thought it was a good song choice, and good performance. It confused me for a sec when he changed the lyrics around but liked the change to it. I love Rascal Flatts and so I'm used to hearing it sung like that. Always hard to live up to someone else when they are the orginal IMO.
Kris - I liked his performance! Agreed, I didn't know the song myself(like I don't most, LOL) but thought he did a great job.
Lil - BLEH! OMG did I hate her performance or what lol... Didn't like it either. I thought she started off good in the competition for her style of music, but the past few weeks I think she's not done good at all even for her style.

Last night was good...I think the shining stars were Adam, Matt and Allison. I don't know why but I'm liking Adam more and more...his weirdness is growing on me and he's showing so many different sides. I think the theme was cool last night. Danny: I thought his was pretty good, the song was a little interesting one to sing but I think he pulled it off pretty well.
Kris: I think the band over powered him a little. I just went back and listened on itunes and the band was the focus.

Scott: Props to him for playing the guitar! I was super shocked when I saw him up there playing. Wasn't fantastic but glad he did something different.

With Scott, I like the guy but I thought he did really bad. He was trying to hit some high notes that he just can't get too. And Lil sang good but it's just too copycat. Kris was just okay to me.

I will say I think Kellie Pickler did FABULOUS on Wednesday's results show. ;) Love love love her! She used to live only about 30 minutes from me. :D Never saw her to my knowledge, but love she's a home grown girl. LOL :p

Loved him from the first audition; thinking " he's good." My fav in the beginning was Danny; was really stoked to see him perform, THEN..... Adam blew him away singing Black or White and I've been sold head over heels over Adam ever since. When I heard Ring of Fire.... I looked like a puppy listening to a high pitched sound...(head tilted sideways) But I like it.... It reminds me of a Marilyn Manson song. Now I am NOT a FAN of Marilyn Manson. There are ONLY a couple of songs of his that I like. I will definitely run out and buy Adam's CD and Allison's.

There's NO denying that Adam can sing. His range is just amazing!!!! Just when you think he's hit his top note, he goes even higher. My hubby even stops playing WOW to turn around and listen to Adam sing. Will he win it? It's hard to tell since it's "america's vote". Will he get a record deal? Most certainly!!!!

But I really, really like Danny. There's just something about his personality that comes through his performances.

Kris is the dark horse for me. I didn't even notice him until the last couple weeks. And he's coming on strong!!! Thought he did a wonderful job last night.

Allison puts that rock into whatever she sings. Gotta love that. There's no denying who Allison is and she doesn't try to hide it.

I almost fill sorry for Lil. No matter what she does, it isn't right. They tell her to branch out and sing something different. And when she does that, they tell her she should sing artist more like her. And when she does that, they say it's karoake. She can't win. But WHAT was she wearing last night?? :eek: I'm sorry but that outfit was NOT flattering to her at ALL!

Sorry to say, I don't even remember anything about Anoops performance last night other than the fact that he's trying to grow a mustache. I guess that says enough on its own.

I agree about the food fight. That was hilarious. A nice way to blow off some nerves and stress. I'm sure their stress level is pretty high at this point.

I think at this point, it really doesn't matter who wins. The remaining 4 will get a chance at record deals whether they win or not. It's going to be hard to pick next week. I'll be upset no matter who goes.

WOW, Adam was amazing tonight!! All the singers were good, but Adam was great! The duet he did with Allison was really good too! I'm a big fan of classic rock though so this was my favourite theme! I can't wait to watch tomorrow and see who's eliminated, they were all really good!

I am actually not a fan of Allison but I think she did quite well tonight! I wasn't too thrilled with Kris or Danny's performance. I personally think Adam would've done incredible at "Dream On," Danny, killed it...and not the good kind of kill. Just my opinion. :p

I think that Adam saved Allison on the duo song they sang. Adam was the ONLY great performer last night.
Kris and Allison kind of crapped out. Danny did o..k. In rehearsal he did great on that last note, on stage, wow, that just bombed.
I think its gonna be Adam and Allison, or Adam and Danny on the last day.

Well, I wasn't impressed with Danny's song, but it was still classic rock! ;)
The last note was ouchy, I do wonder if they could hear themselves through the monitors? Some time they missed pitch (Chris and Danny) and Allison could have picked a WAY better song to do for her solo, but she still rocked the one she had, in my opinion, it's just better when they push themselves in those certain places and that song didn't provide her a lot of opportunity to do that, only during the cry baby part. She could easily be a Janis Joplin carbon copy when it comes to the singing!

I still can't get over the one Adam did though. I have been dying for this episode all week, because I knew once it was rock week, he was gonna be completely in his element and we'd get to hear what I assumed would be his best performance yet for the season (and imo it was his best performance to date) and he really redeemed himself. I still don't understand why he was in the bottom 3 last week though.

Well my guy didn't win and though I wish he would've went farther then he did, I'm SOOO happy he didn't get stuck in the contract.Those that get stuck in the contract take alot longer to bring out CD's, and most of the time don't do as good IMO. I know it's mean of me to say but if Adam wins fine. lol I don't care if he gets in there or not.
I hope that Kris and Danny don't get stuck. I like Allison okay but she's not a favorite so I don't really care either way.

He's amazing and the guy is overflowing with talent! I think he could have picked any classic rock song and blown it out of the water! He is that talented (imo). Yup, I think Danny will get a record deal too. Recording companies would be crazy not to snap him up. I didn't realize that his wife had passed away shortly before the show. Wow, that's so sad. That must have been really hard for him to compete but I'm glad he did, he's an amazing singer and I hope to hear more of him in the future!

Too me Kris looks like the good boy who just sort of is seen and never heard, but Adam, he looks like the bad boy who plays the innocent card! He's so mysterious, you never know what to expect (me atleast!)

Kris fan here. I didn't want him winning only so he wouldn't get stuck in the contract. But I was willing to let him get stuck in it, if he could beat Adam. I think Adam is good for what he does, but I was so sick of so many people who thought he already had idol won. I love the "underdogs"! I won't be buying Adam's cd but that's because his style isn't mine. Kris, I'd buy. I actually liked Adam to begin with, before he just got to messed up(singing wise, nothing else) IMO. Adam seemed to begin with like he was himself and sung great. Now he's "trying" to hard, he tried to change it to much IMO. I like Adam's heart and personality though. He seems like a humble guy and very down to earth. I do love that about him. But as far as singing I just don't see it as that great now, like it was.
