I have never considered myself big, although throughout my life I have been called that by multiple people. I just ignore it, but tonight, yet again, it gets brought up. :rolleyes: My mom's best friend was over and right before she leaves she said, "If Caitie has outgrown any of her clothes, which I'm sure she has, send them my way because Sarah (that's not the girls real name) is much smaller." Okay, Sarah is my age and I always considered ourselves the same size (although she has called me fat before :rolleyes:). Anyways, I just needed to vent. Stupid people. :mad:

Gah, me too. My mom didn't even stick up for me, that bugs me. They have been friends forever (before I was born), so you think she would be comfortable letting her best friend know that was offending. Maybe my mom didn't care. My mom will make little comments, too. :rolleyes: Whatever. Thank you, though. I wasn't trying to fish out compliments or be a whining brat, it just feels better to vent. :)

Oh, I understand the need to vent about things like that. My step dad used to make comments to me - and that was when I was running cross country and built like a rock. Made enough comments to his own biological daughter (my half sister) that she ended up going bulemic (sp) on us due to such a poor view of herself. I would rather someone in your position vent and realize that its not true, instead of holding it in and letting it bear you down.

She's doing better now. Mom divorced him last year and things seem to keep getting better since that time.

That's so weird! You're not big in any way! You're tall, sure, but not big. You look to be about my size (except for the height :D), small but built.
