Nah--you'd be fine with a gaited horse. Here I am so proud of riding again after 25 years, but I have a feeling that I'm cheating with Arrow! Thanks for all the kind words--I did buy this saddle, it squishes me a tiny little bit, but not bad, I hardly notice it now, and fitting him is the important thing--he's impossible!

I'm an all western girl so I can't comment on the english saddle fit, but I do want to say that Arrow is a very handsome boy!:D I enjoyed the video. You two look great together! xD

Hmmm...though it looks like it's not to hard on photobucket...

I got a really long video today--12 and a 1/2 minutes of Arrow playing in a pond and in the pasture--but I walked a lot and there's massive jiggling, I stood still for lots of it, but not all, maybe I can edit it down to 5 minutes or something.

But--it wouldn't load onto my poor little laptop! Too big I guess--I've got to wait for Monday to go to the camera store and ask them to put it on a disc for me, so you'll just have to wait!

First I would like to say that your horse is sure PURDY! As for the saddle and the fit, I would say that it is a little small (not much) especially since you are saying that it squishes you, but if you can deal with it then and it fits the horse, then go for it.
