We went to the CA Clinic today, and will be going back tomorrow.
I'm sooooo enjoying this!! I've got a long ways to go with Pandora definately, but I have seen it now and know where to go from here. I'm having so much fun learning!!
Panda may hate me and Clinton when it's done with. I so wish I could've let him work with her as a demo, but she's too old. :( Blah Oh well.
Well just wanted to update y'all! I'm having so much fun! It's just really awesome!!
He's sooo humorous and I love it!

Hey hey!
Yea, I never thought of him as anything other then a trainer, but now that I've seen him in person.. humm..hubba hubba
I love his sense of humor! He's so funny but gets his point across!! I love it!
I've gotten a few pictures, but the lighting in the indoor area stunk most of today, so didn't get alot of good clear ones. Got a few later this afternoon that weren't too bad though.
I so want to go to another one of those, but this time I want to go with a bunch of other horse-crazy women instead of my husband! LOL.

The trailer that vicklynn and dixie (I think it was) fell in love with. Well it wasn't the trailer it was what was on the trailer. :P

Daisy and Clinton. Daisy was a 4 yr. old QH, who they said had several problems, but Clinton said she wasn't bad at all.

Clinton standing on a colt. I can't remember how old he was. But the horse was about to pass out. The work Clinton did with him wasn't bad, but the colt had ran around for a good hour by itself, and was sweating like crazy.

Clinton with the colt again:

Sadly he ran out of time before he could ride him. That really stunk!

Also, I will be shutting this down in a little and won't be able to be back on till late tomorrow. So I won't be ignoring anyone if they post, just won't be back home till tomorrow evening. We'll be leaving from the Clinic heading home. :)

I saw him here in MN a year or two ago. You missed it lovesfortune! I liked his horsemanship a lot but I never really noticed his "jeans." I'd go see him again but still not lookin' at his jeans lol.
He did a demo on loading a stubborn horse in a trailer that really helped me last week when I loaded one of mine for the first time.

I saw him in Idaho a few years ago and enjoyed in a ton! My horse got a major reality check after that as well.

Back home and we had a blast!
I'm soooooo much more aware of what training Pandora needs now, and I've got a LONG LONG ways to go. Man I didn't realize how disrepectful she is. I knew she was, but not as bad as she is. She's very pushy, minds no manner for your hula hoop, hard as I've tried she won't do a dozen other things. She's perfect in every other way, but I've got to get her respect down first.
My sister got me my Christmas present early, a handy stick. Hot dog! I'm loving all the knowledge I learnt, I got to see and meet CA and I'm on Cloud Ten. No one pull me back down for a long time, okay?
I had so much fun! Vicky, I had my sister take a picture(I had mine up at the time, because she was getting pictures of me, etc. and I had her holding it) of something just for you, but I'll have to download the pics first.
Anyways, I'll be back later. Pandora is officially in Downunder Bootcamp. My twin siblings (both 13 yrs.) keep talking about how they are gonna let her run away, and how the feel sorry for her, etc. I'm trying to explain to them that this is the best thing in gaining respect from her so maybe no one will have a chance at getting hurt as much. If you see my point.

Wow...looks like fun. I can't wait till CA is here in Nov. I have never been to any clinician shows, so it should be interesting!

If your going to his clinic countrygirl, you'll love it. It is fabulous!
May I give you a suggestion or two?
Make sure you take a camera along to get pictures ( we need pics for sure. :D), and if the seats are hard(which probably they will be), you may want to take something along to sit on. It isn't bad or anything, especially for getting to see him and all. (Hubba hubba), but after you sit a while you do have to move around and it gets a lil' numbing to your rear end, etc. LOL
