Grace is in rare form today! Let me tell you. :)
While the kids cleaned the paddocks I had turned Vicor out with Hazel, and Ginger and let Sunny clean up Vic's left overs (she needs all the hay we can get in her) So because Grace doesn't play well with others she had to stay in her paddock, she raced back and forth, bucking and rearing, basically throwing a hissy fit.
When I came over to start her paddock she was exhausted. :D So she just followed me around, and EVERY time I'd rake up a pile I'd turn around and she was pawing it, spreading it every where again!! She did it four times to me before I finally had to tie her because she wouldn't stop messing up my rake job! lol
As a treat I let her graze on the lawn while I finished up her paddock, she'd take to bites, walk through her gate check on me then walk back out and eat some more. IF that wasn't a cry for attention I don't know what is!!
So after all the paddocks were cleaned and the horses in their rightful places I took Grace out and gave her a really good grooming. I spent 20mins just brushing her and giving her extra love.
I put her away and went to do some ground work with Ginger and what does that Brat of a mare do? She rolls in the spot where I dumped her water buckets. She then looked at me as I was pretending to yell at her and tossed her head and snorted!
MARES!!!
(gotta love them)
