New horse.....

I'll take pics of her tomorrow. She is extremely emaciated. Absolutely terrified of people. And I am in love with her :innocent:

So yes... I have a new one.

Actually she came in as one, yes. And I was going to train her and rehome her.. but decided she's worth keeping. She actually has amazing bloodlines and nice conformation (I can see that under what she is now). Reminds me of Dena. She's 15. But I think she'd make a nice husband horse. She stalls now, works in the round pen, can go on walks etc. She does ride. But she's so thin I've done very little with her. Right now she's making friends with Dena, enjoying a warm stall, and learning food comes without a fight.

Thanks everyone. She is really in pretty bad shape. But she is going to be my fiance's horse. And he has taken on round pen work etc. Which is really cute. She likes him.

I've started her on a really good feed but not too much of it. More good hay and lots of water. She got wormed etc and hopefully will begin to show signs of improvement soon. She's very protective of her feed so I feed the "Girls" in their side by side stalls (where she insists on pinning her ears and swinging at Dena...who looks at her like an absolute freak of nature..) I think Dena thinks she's a total head case :innocent: lol
