Hackamore/bit combo

I have seen these and was wondering what you all think about them??

Although i've never personally used them, my friend has a horse that doesn't like bits too much and a hackamore was ruining his nose, so she went with a combo and her horse really liked it.

It really depends on what you horse likes. I use a combo bit on my horse for barrel racing and he is really good in it. I tried it on one of my other horses and she hated it.
