i was just wondering. it was in the low, low 20's here today. i even had to go and break the ice in my horses water troughs. it is only the beginning of October and it has already snowed. we did not get much but it left my deck and trees covered in white powder. i was going to take some pictures but i was late getting ready for work.

We had our first frost last night, expecting another one tonight.
We put the blankets on the horses!
But we aren't as cold as you are ~shivers~
Wow - we were 85 and I was running around in shorts & a tank top and sandles on my feet. Brrr - winter needs to stay far away!

It was about 75 here today in Wisconsin, I'm about an hour east of Minneapolis, MN. But I think we're going to get the cold weather here really soon.

It's 70*F here now. When I left the house earlier today, the thermometer said 80* and I believe it warmed up a little after that. Not hot, though. Just right. :)

We had our first good freeze almost 2 weeks ago, and it's been in the 30's at night, and 40-50's in the daytime ever since.
Now it's raining and 49 deg. Blah!:( This kind of weather isn't supposed to let up until sometime Monday, then after 2 days of clear and in the 50's, we go back to it again- sheesh! I'm lucky if I can ride once a week in this weather.

Yep - it's cold here in the Pacific Northwest... looking at the thermometer out the window now and it's 40 degrees - supposed to get down to 30 over night. When I woke up this morning it was in the 20's and I too had to pull ice off of the trough outside. It's sort of fun to see Timber with his fluffy coat - he came here in March and his owner told me "he has to wear a blanket because he doesn't grow a coat". His isn't as thick as my other three so I'm watching for shivering but he definitely has more hair than he did last winter... and he seems so happy!:)

I went for a run in shorts and a tank top earlier and I was absolutely boiling! :p

We're 37 here right now [at 7:27 a.m. est] We have had frost a few mornings. The past few days have been beautiful with the leaves at their peak and it hits maybe 68 or 70 then gets cold when the sun does down.
I love snow but am not looking forward to the real cold. I can't take the cold anymore but don't like the heat either. The past few days have been perfect, wish it would stay like this forever.

Right now (8am) its about 50 degrees F. It's been getting into the mid 70's during the day.
We've been having an awesome Fall season here, which is pretty unusual for us, we normally go from summer (90 degrees), then get maybe a week of beautiful fall weather, then to freezing cold winter.

It's about the 50s right now, should heat up to 70s and sunny! I love it when weather decides to cooperate with my riding needs!

It's 63 here now. It didn't cool off much at all last night. We've already had a good frost. Today is supposed to be warm and then rain tonight and a cool down. The leaves are turning and we are near our peak color.
We have one of the states most beautiful fall color highways so I imagine the Sunday drivers/lookers will be out in force today. It's US hwy 61 that runs along the east border of the state along the Mississippi River where it is a couple miles wide and called Lake Pepin. Hopefully I can get some pics to share.
