Equine Woman..I am SUPER JEALOUS! My son is obsessed with planes and we just redid his room in an airplane theme. Now I'm just looking for some really cute pictures to go on the walls. I hope you get some great shots!!!!

Nothing exciting here today. Dinner last night for the birthdays was alright. Then my pregnant sister in law and I decided to go to a late movie (SHe has the baby Tues so it would be her "last horrah") and we got to the theatre at 9:35. The doors were locked! The movie started at 9:30. We knocked and no one came. SO it was a wasted trip. :( So we are going today.

Other than that, I went for another ride on both horses last night with the same results. Hubby got on Booty after I was having issues and she started crowhopping with him. Ugh. So I guess it just means we need to be more consistent now with our riding. The weather is rainy today so our plan to pour cement won't be happening. We are going to plan #2.

Today is Thanksgiving here in Canada, so there's a great big supper tonight at my Mom & Dads. A bunch of family coming & getting to visit. That'll be nice. Haven't seen some of them in a while, so can't wait to see them. Well I better get moving here, Mom will be here soon to pick up my kids for Sunday School, so I'll try to pop back in a little later. Good Sunday morning to y'all!

Nothing too exciting here today... hubby is still gone hunting and I have two more horses to trim and the house to finish cleaning. We live out in an area where there isn't a lot of traffic and NO children for Halloween so after the first year I didn't decorate. However, after looking around at other peoples fun decor I have realized that it makes me happy too - even if nobobdy else see it. So, today I will hit the barn storage area and try to dig out all my "stuff"... think I'll go with all the more "fallish" stuff rather than Halloween spiders and such - then I can leave it up through Thanksgiving.:)

Pinky - I thought you'd be too young for tendonitis! I guess things are different now - we didn't even have computers when I was young... I'm just assuming it's keyboard/mouse caused? Or wait... aren't you a musician too? Probably hard to let it rest - you be good and take care of it!;)

Gypsy - after you build that ark store it for me... we need it here BADLY in Jan/Feb!

For all of you with colds/flu I hope you get to feeling better and for all of you who get to ride today - I am jealous... that "season" is pretty much over here.:mad:

Ok, I'm jealous at those who got to ride last night!!!! @%^&* Bandit! <grumble, grumble> I wanted to ride too.

Anyway, after that fiasco with Bandit and Toby earlier in the evening, I step out my back porch to look at the bright moon lighting up the hills and look over to see the horses sleeping and a couple are laying out flat. I say their names and they all look up but Apache. Then I hear this raspy noise. Oh no! I freak because Apache has been known to be prone to choke - but usually due to alfalfa. He hasn't had any, but who knows if there was something in this batch of hay or what. So I toss on some shoes and run out there. He sits up just fine and then after a few minutes gets up and comes to me for some petting. "whats up mom?" Then I see beside him my male Muscovy who then starts bobbing his head and making the typical muscovy raspy sounds of "talk" that they do. So THAT is what I was hearing - not the horse! Oh my - they are tag teaming me now.

My plans for today are working on the floor in the trailer, and then practicing with Apache on how to load. Oh, and cleaning out a stall for bandit's butt. Then hopefully this evening a nice ride. I hope.

Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoy your days off. I don't have many if any of those in the fall. I'm home for lunch and a little peak at a football game. After that i get to go back to work and check everybody else that is playing on their day off. At least I usually get to talk to some horse people at the trails. Enjoy!

Well... I'm just layin around with my friend watching movies it's chilly! Well she's staying with us for a few days since her parents are in Hawaii for a few days for their second honey moon. :) My room is kinda messy right now. :p So maybe I can get her to ride Biggs. :) Maybe we'll go on a trail ride! :)
