I'm thinking I might ask my trainer to clip Dance this winter because she gets too furry and whenever I ride it takes me about an hour to cool her out after riding her. My problem is I need a new winter blanket for her before I get her clipped cause I don't know where last years went  .. My question is what brand of blankets does everyone use and why do you like them? I'm not even sure what Brand last years was, because an old boarder gave it to me before she left.. Thanks in advance!
oops.. posted this in the wrong section. Sorry about that!

I use the Abetta Arctic Waterproof 1200 Denier-Poly Turnout Blanket
It has fleece around the withers so it doesnt rub and what not.
it doesnt rip and my horse can still run around in the pasture with it on.
I used the same one for 3 years on the horses I leased and it didnt get to beat up.
I just bought a new one for my horse.
and it comes in pretty colorss
heres the website where I bought it

I swear by Weatherbeetas. They really hold up well, some of mine are now several years old and my horses wear them pretty much 24/7 all winter.
I've had straps rip, but it's actually a good thing for straps to give if they get them caught on something. I repair them myself over winter and take it to a cleaner who repairs them right for the next season.

a lot of people have been saying weatherbeeta's are good, i went and looked at some other people threads and a lot have said good things about them. I may try one of those and see how it goes, Hopefully it'll go good :p

I was always thrilled with my medium-weight Weatherbeeta blankets for my old gelding, Flair. It kept him warm and comfortable at night.
Also liked the Saxon turnout sheet I got him for those nights and days when it was cold, but not rainy. That way he didn't have to wear the heavier blanket all the time.
Now I have to decide on a rain sheet for Mitch. Sold off Flair's blankets because they wouldn't fit my smaller pony, but am thinking about that Saxon turnout from Horse.com. Only because it's less than $50, and he doesn't need it all the time.

Weatherbeets, Rambos or SS Tack those are my top 3 picks but it really depends on the shape of the horse.
Jet Lag was a perfect fit for the Big D brand and I wouldn't have traided it but on LilBit when we 1st tired them they didn't work.

thanks for all the help guys! :)
i haven't decided on a blanket yet, because I'm not positive my trainer can clip her and if she doesn't then dance doesn't nessicarily need a blanket because she's wicked furry haha
