I must say, I find out most stuff on my own, my BO's don't really tell me much. So, between you guys here (THANKS!!!) and just googling stuff, I get my info. He got his sheath cleaned, he had a decent sized bean, but she said he was still ok. It wasn't too bad, and his teeth are good, no sharp teeth, he may need them hand done, but nothing to much like the power way. She does the old fashioned hand way and she said she could do it if it needed it. He got his coggins pulled and his sheath cleaned for today. He will go back this summer to get shots. She also said I could try barrels. I have been told it could snap his leg, but she said to go slow and easy and watch for lameness. She said even a perfectly confirmed horse could snap a leg for some reason. I ahve a friend who does barrels and can help me. I am currently looking at supplements too for him. She also said a hoof supplement wouldn't hurt him. He is on Purina Stragety, to that may help his hooves. IT takes a year for them to grow a new hoof. He has 3 white hooves and they crack, but the assistant said there just surface cracks and if they flare then there deep. So between the great feed he's on and some supplements, we'll see how he does then shoe him if there not better. So I mostly figured this out on my own. Just wanted to thank you guys again, and tell you he's doing great!!!
